Wonderful interview, I like many young people are only realizing now that we were fooled by the media. We hated a President based on allegations no one was able to incriminate the former president, courts found the allegations to be political. Most of us never got to hear the other side of the story because the media only showed us the corruption and the evil. I hope many young people can also start to question what we see on mainstream media and actually start listening to great men like Mr Zuma. Thank you Sizwe for making this public🙏🏾

When Cyril came into power he was too much on “fighting corruption” , that campaign was very active towards Mr Zuma . If we look at the situation right now Ramaphosa is not doing anything about corruption, this clearly shows that the main objective was aimed towards Zuma from the bbeginning. Wow all this makes very good sense now

Why cancel a route to Mumbai and give it to the Guptas instead of giving it to South Africans, is that how his RET works. You see now these Guptas are gone and left with the billions meanwhile those who have 150 years of contracts are here building the country and paying taxes here not in Dubai. My concern really is, as much as its their side of the story; it would have been nice to also share your views on uNxamala as an ordinary citizen (otherwise its just Zuma monologue), hence your music for instance. But I guess balancing that would also have been an issue because he may have refused to answer certain questions etc. Anyways, good luck with your channel and be consistent even on radio stations (hope you replace Eusebius one day), you sound fair!!

How come in his story he doesn’t recall his part on removing Mbeki, he didn’t sound like he owns the mistakes he committed as a leader but seems to blame other people. There could have been a conspiracy against him but he made things much easier for all his enemies looking at his tenure.

I would've loved to hear his side of the story regarding the 2007 Polokwane conference and the events leading to it. To me, it sounds as if the man said to you, "I will give you this interview under the condition that you don't ask difficult questions." Another thing.... if a former president feels as though he's been a victim of exterior forces, he, I believe, must tell us who these exterior forces are without beating about the bush. As citizens, we wanna know who runs our country. I don't think it's a difficult thing to do if you really care about the country and its people. According to the constitution of South Africa (section 91), the president is the one who appoints his or her deputy. Now the question is...who appointed Cyril to be his deputy and for what purpose?

You can have names but you may not know how far the rabbit hole goes. South Africa is top 5 on being one of the most critical points on the world map in terms of the economics. The abundance of high value resources. This thing is far bigger than the names he probably has. You may have expectation but consider the consequences of irrational actions. He’s worked in the intelligence. Trust him to use it wisely

Regarding your question towards the end. Cyril was selected to ensure that no action is taken regarding the land expropriation without compensation and ultimately not drastically increased tax on them. Another reason is the give them their Cape independence. So that they can be Israel fighting Palestine for bantus this times. The agenda is to depopulate

A great interviewer ask follow-up and probing questions. This fellow is giving Zuma to narrate what he alleges, not challenging him. For instance why did he appoint while he was President the same people who were "spies" in his views. This is pretty lame interview, no substance at all

The remedial action of Public protector is still binding unless you challenge them in a court of law. JZ you wanted to ignore them and you claim they were not binding.

Maybe this question was asked and I missed it. But I would like uBaba to tell us one day what he thinks his role is or was in this pursuit for him to account for questionable decisions during his presidency.

I always wondered why was it Bab’u Zuma and Malum’ uYengeni who got to be accussed in the Arms Deal, were they the people handling the deal, we are not told who were the people who handled the deal and how Baba Nxamalala no malum’ uYengeni influence those who had to agree on this deal in favour of their “bribers”. That is not told, but we all know that Mr Zuma and Mr Yengeni were not the ones who made the decisions. Because we so dependend to the media and use no critical thinking; we are used as pawns for and against, in a story that has never been told properly. Secondly, whether Nxamalala was or was not involved in the Arms Deal; I personally find South Afrikans vindictive and cruel; because they in their majority; including those today who call for the re-instatement of his charges. The 60% of the ANC, maybe 100% of the SACP, COSATU( as I did not hear any opposing) called for the charges to be dropped. To me I see a miscarriage of justice, if the courts drop charges against me and 10 years later they are re-instated. This sets a bad precedence. Which means that if charges are dropped against you, you are still a suspect and you have to look over your shoulders for the rest of your life. Then we see the same thing been repeated in the case of Mr Gordhan. Whereby he is defended and supported not to be put in the spotlight. The very same way the majority, like in Mr Zuma’s time felt that he is innocent. It doesnt matter that Mr Gordhan lied under oath.South Afrikans do not care about it now; but 10 years or so down the line; the very same people who are defending him will want him to answer for the Rouge Unit etc. It seems that we are all drugged and made to follow a written script in this county and we never care to learn on our mistakes. If Mr Zuma case was not dismissed, either way this debacle would have long been solved. This country supports justice in theory but in practice the system is controlled not to implement justice. It is politicians, obviously controlled by their CODESA handlers and the use of their media, who decides who to dismiss unhonourably and who to protect. Thanks Sizwe👊🏿

you must be living on a different planet, the decision was made by the highest court to reinstate the arms charges again. its well publicized that the NPA leader was instated by Zuma and shortly after that he dropped the arms deal charges.

On the issue of Zuma and Arms deal,Zuma himself has got court summons which clarify that his case is about money which was paid by Shaik on Zuma's account to secure the deal between Thales and the state, no one has ever mentioned Zuma being the Head of Negotiations, he Himself (Zuma) knows all about this, what he is saying outside the court is not what his legal representatives say inside the court,he is now pushing his agenda by selecting young, premature Self made journalists like Sizwe to try and convince the South Africans that he is not guilty, something he should have done in Court and Zondo Commission. He can't use Well-known Journalists because they are not desperate and hungry like Sizwe, they will make him answer directly to the questions he refused to answer during Zondo Commission
