FACT CHECK: This home is actually 30 yrs old (built in 1993). The new owner did a bunch of renovations. The purchase price & renovation came to about $19 million. Instead of putting the home on the market for a reasonable price they got greedy & in 2020 they put it on the market for $48 million. No one‘s going to pay $48 million for 30-year-old house that’s had a facelift. Three years later, it’s in bankruptcy.

@@motivalue I don’t think it sell at action. The bankruptcy trustee wants to make sure that all creditors get paid so I guess it will depend on what the minimum they will accept is. Otherwise months from now the trustee will accept a lower offer.

Beautiful home, but the fact that it's a top down home with a pool that you have to walk down another big flight of stairs is a negative to a lot of buyers in this price ranger.

JP - is there a pool bathroom? For this price, can't imagine forcing guests to climb all those stairs back to the house and drip pool water on the nice floors in search of a bathroom! Also, is there room in the garage (i.e. below) to add car lifts if you wanted to make it a 6-car garage instead of just 3? Also odd that a $38M house doesn't have a built-in espresso machine while other homes for less than half the price have them. I'd be too afraid to ever venture into the orchard; would probably set a new speed record for fastest tumble down a hill!

I've been really loving to watch tours in this channel specially because you show houses that are different than other KZfaqrs. Hey Jp. A 42 min video? My comment will be ridiculous. Watching and enjoying and will only comment what I don’t care for. Wow. Amazing home. Spacious guest bedrooms. Love the pool but floating on the cliffs edge 😮 and those stairs down the glass railings. Beautiful but a lot of maintenance keeping clean. And the lemon orchards nice but steep hill and stairs. Other than that; amazing.
