That 300k gamerscore was modded. You didn't even need an RGH/jtag to do that. Put your profile data onto a USB and then there was a program for your PC that could load the profile data and do things like unlock gamerscore, mod your avatar that's how the skin was blue.

Had to keep it subtle or the system would flag achievements as unrealistic. I think I remember seeing first offenders get a 2 week ban and lose their gamerscore, and some banned if other stuff was found which usually was. The smart people used it to make different avatars and maybe add one or two achievements every now and again that were realistic. I think at some point Microsoft found a way to detect if it had been on usb and modified when it was put back on console and reuploaded to live

I've used achievement unlocker back in the day, got caught, gamer score removed but no ban, however, all of those achievements were blocked from being unlocked.

that Minecraft disc looking like that happens when you have the console standing on its side and someone (or a dog in my case) bumps it while its reading a disc at full speed. the disc wobbles back and forth and can just strait up destroy a disc (Mine was an orange box disc)

i had a disc that didn't get removed from the 360 crack on me, turned on one morning the game didn't load so i had taken it out and it had a crack on it lol. i never removed the game from the console as it was a new game and the only one i played so have to clue how it happened.

A console ban doesn't affect anything else on your network, and anyone suggesting how to get it unbanned doesn't understand what they're saying. The actual network card is banned, down to the physical MAC address. It's something they can still do nowadays but that requires very serious infractions, because usually just banning a gamertag is considered "good enough".

for the console that has a ban they more than likely loaded their profile onto a usb and then loaded it up on a computer and clicked the button on a program that unlocks all achievements that the profile has played. I used to have a program that did this when i was like 12. xd

Modding the account like this wouldn't immediately result in a console ban. The account, on the other hand, would be banned eventually. They would have to mod a bunch of accounts or offer to sell the mods multiple times to get a whole console ban. But there was probably a lot more to this than just a blue guy with a huge gamer score. I used to work on the XBLPET team.

It most likely is a rgh console if its banned and has that much gamer score you can unban it by buying a new kv (if it is a rgh not sure if it is or not) but if it is you can always unban it by buying a key vault (kv) and a stealth server!

That Minecraft game was scratched like that because at some point someone moved the console while it was on and playing. When the disc is spinning and you move the console the disc makes contact with the laser and destroys the disc

Laser burns on the disc from the console being moved/ knocked while its reading a disc. you can sometimes still save the disc depending on the severity

The laser isn't powerful enough to burn. But you are right the rings are usually from the console being bumped causing the disc to wobble and get scratched

Blades dashboard is the best thing ever. I bought 360 at launch, and when they got rid of the blades, I was furious. I also bought, Ps3 at launch, Xbox On, Ps4, and Ps5..... but blades scenario never happened again. I miss those days so much. Living and working in Ireland at that time, playing Gears 1 ah man..... I'm so old

9:37 that's exactly how my 2005 Xbox 360 got updated when I wanted to show my friend my "different" dashboard (I didn't have an HDD, all HDD was updated next dashboard) 😭 I visited him and I was blown away that he had a totally different dashboard as a 12 years old kid lol (He probably got his xbox like 1 year later than me, I got in on release) So we did a bit of gaming, went to my place with his HDD because he had games installed there and it updated my 360 to his dashboard. I was so pissed but also very curious because it was something I had not seen before. This was the time when I joined Xbox Live, the best multiplayer experience one could ever have as a kid.

No not all Jaspers had on Board storage. My first 360 was a jasper elite that didn't hat it, last year I bought a bunch of untested 360s and multiple jasper they all didn't had that on board storage. And my now main 360 also a jasper, it totally surprised me because it has the on board storage, so I made my main console I thought it's special because it has it. Cleaned it, new thermal paste applied, of course the perfect amount, and I painted it red and yes painted it the correct way. Thank you for another awesome video jacob

What is interesting to me is that white slim is probably an rgh. Most stealth servers have achievement unlockers but spamming them to much will eventually get the console banned.

2:34 replacing the GPU for a highTG version of the Y1 GPU or an Elpis GPU is permanent. the launch version of the Xenon had a Y1 GPU with a manufacturing flaw. this was solved in other revisions of the Y1 GPU and the Elpis (which is basically a Rhea GPU, the GPU from the Falcons, but with the ball array on the correct order for fitting a Xenon or Zephyr_A board)

That minecraft disc looks like that because they used a "scratch remover" used to sell them at Best Buy when i worked there and just pretty much sands down the bottom of the disc. Usually making it worse, not better..

I know this isn’t the best place to ask for advice but I thought Jacob R would know the answer best but what should I do to get my Wii remote working again and before you ask yes I tried the red button on the Wii and the red button next to the batteries to fix it and the doesn’t help like it blinks but doesn’t connect but it worked just fine 2 days ago I don’t know what to do btw very weird to ask but I thought best to ask you for an explanation

I used to use a USB drive and custom gave saves to unlock all the achievements I’m pretty sure if I’m not mistaken. Would use achievement saves, which would give you mostly all the achievements.

Just do a factory hard reset on the system. Then if you need the firmware update you can download them from the internet onto a thumbdrive and plug it into the console's USB port and perform the update that way.

I have an Idea for the next series: Buy "Unused" HDD or SSD, Burned Discs (Burn means to put/write files to the disc.) External Storage devices (e.g. USB, MicroSD) from Goodwill.

I remember about the Xbox 360 ban as well and some users would even become permanently banned from Xbox Live on the Xbox 360 up until Friday, December 31st, 9999 (12/31/9999) since some people would be banned until the year 9999 that way even though none of us will be around by then.

@@EmmettXIV The amount of time and number of seasons it takes to get 100%. You can play an entire season trying to focus on one single award you need and you can lose it at the last minute wasting hours and hours of work. In this game you can be too and break the computer when it comes to handing out awards so you can't just spam certain positions to get awards.

Man, I miss the Blades dash. It was so quick, simple, and clean. Also, the Xbox Live profile with 0 Gamerscore on the one Xbox might've just been there to access streaming apps. I don't rightly recall, but it might've been necessary to enable the system-wide parental controls as well. Eh. My console has had a Xbox Live profile on it since I got it, so I don't have the greatest reference point there. 🙂 On a final note, that blue one looked sweet. It would've looked nicer had someone not attempted the paint job though. 😞

Oh I remember NBA Elite 11 from the videos that various content creators who are into legacy sports titles and one of them said that NBA Elite 11 was very janky and it was very different vs the other NBA titles in terms of controls that were out in the market. Also NBA Elite 11 was the game that that was part of EA's rebrand of NBA Live.

The Xbox 360 didn't have any stabilizer for the disc so the disc would get scratched like that Minecraft disc if the console was moved or fell while a game was playing.

There is a program that you can download to your computer and as long as you have an available flash drive you can spoof the trophies and achievements. I remember there were a couple games that I had that the achievements were impossible to get so I opened up the program. Loaded up. My gamer profile put the achievements on there I'm doing the flash drive. Put it back into my Xbox 360. Moved my hard drive back and all the achievements were there that I needed

Modded game score you use horizon 360 mod, use a usb and a pc. Copy ya account onto the usb and connect it to the pc using the usb and you can literally get every achievement plus custom the avatar anyway you want to. But it comes at a huge risk

It's weird seeing these consoles in such poor condition, I thought people would be like me and just keep it in okay condition. I don't use mine anymore, so it collects dust, but I treasure it as it was my childhood :/ Last I checked still boots up just fine, but I had a bug that got in it and died so it turns itself off all the time. It's one of the touch sensor ones.

On the 360, if you put a newer game on an old firmware and you're not connected to the internet, will it still force you to update? Just curious cause I'm thinking about getting one of these Blade Dashboard 360s and don't want to risk it.

Yeah, you can only play a number of games released on that dash. If I were you I would buy it as a collectors item or jtag it as you won't blow the e fuses if you update it through a jtag, or I believe you may be able to modify the games and remove the update.

@FawfulRox the update itself is on the game. You could flash the drive or jtag it so you can modify the games and remove the update, but a stock game released after an update will force you to update before you play it.

The gamer score mod is done from usb u put Ur profile on to a usb then u put in a mod tool I can't remember the name of it but u would just unlock them it was really simple u could also change the years on the profile to 10 years and custom gamer pics and themes good old days of console haha

I used to work for xbox support and you could do it a little bit before the system caught it but if you did as much as that guy did you were def getting banned. Also there were tons of easy ways to spot the fake achievements as support including time. Personally it feels like the console ban was from something else though. Maybe a jtag mod or something since modding gamerscore takes being off the console and on a computer. Unless they were caught multiple times on different GT's

I think the right buyer would take that banned console for cheap if they have a massive physical collection and WANT to play offline or have this in a vacation home that doesn't have internet for some reason. I'd give 30 bones for a basic console like that if I had physical games. That's the price of a PS2 slim that doesn't read discs and is functionally useless without mods (or maybe lens replacement)

I had a 360 with a modded dvd-drive firmware. Forgot to verify a "backup" of a game and got banned. Good thing someone bought it anyway

That banned console is definitely modded seems like whoever modded it used the mod to get every achievement in the games they played Microsoft probably saw too rapid of growth in the achievements and banned the console suspecting it was modded
