Back in 1996 Jacques Pepin and his wife, his brother, and sister-in-law were staying at the same Club Med in Martinique as me and my wife's family. He actually taught my wife (a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America) how to windsurf.

Jacques Pepin is amazing! I don't recall which video it was, but he said "that's how we did it in Paris in the 50's" (referring to how different pastries were made). The man is a legend on so many levels.
