OMG!!!! This was my childhood! I remember recording MTV spring break performances on my VCR and I watched it over and over again. Especially this performance. I had it memorized!!! Nostalgia is the best!!!

It was a great time for music but also a time where it really took a lot of talent and luck to break out during this time period as this was the most diverse era in music history. Rock, rap and pop had so many different sub genres all going at once.

oh yeah MTV spring break does it again. I remember this group loved them as a young girl had there tape cassette..lol There were a lot of songs on the album that were just as good as there hits. I remember they made an appearance on Beverly hills 90210 thats how big they were.

I sometimes think the same, then I remember all the technology that makes our lives easier. Things to work are done way more easily today (just like they were 6 years ago when you wrote this comment) than they were done at the time when this song was released. Communication with colleagues is way faster. We basically don’t need to use post office at all. I’m from the generation that entered the job sphere when all these things had already been in use. Therefore, I’ve never experienced a situation when I’d have to do things the way they had to be done before, such as going to post office, etc.
