Okay, take three!!! Sorry for the third upload. I made some minor, but rather embarrassing errors in my previous two cuts. This should be the final one.
This is an in-depth look at the JAE-100G3 M14/M1A rifle chassis system. This chassis system is known for being one of the most robust and accurate platforms that you can drop your action into.
In my very limited time using this chassis, I have shot my best groups out of any rifle ever! On my last trip, shot 52 rounds for eleven separate groups at 200 yards which averaged 0.915 MOA! If you're looking for a precision long range modern chassis for your M14, give the JAE-100G3 a look. It's expensive, but you can't doubt the quality.

You sir are by far and away the best representative that JAE has on KZfaq!! There are no reviews that even begin to come close to the level of detail that you delve into. I am currently in the market for a JAE 700XL for a 338 lapua (surgeon) build; sadly there are a grand total of 0 videos outlining that particular product available at this time. Having said that: the aft portion of the chassis that you reviewed is ( to the best of my knowledge) identical, so that aspect was certainly educational. Thank you for taking your time to share with us this superb piece of equipment.

I can buy a good used motorcycle for $1800. If they were all hand made one offs maybe, but I know the production cost is no more than $250. That's a markup of over 700%! I'll stick with my Nam era fiberglass stock for that price and get a motorcycle. Probably not California compliant anyway.

I took a look at this stock a few years ago and it was aroumd $800. Looked today and they start at $1800! Yikes. I own some high end toys but i cant justify that price uneless it makes your bullets heatseeking and curve around corners

Just get an Archangel stock they are around $230 or so.

We could see the video better if the name wasn’t across the whole bottom of the video you can only see less than half of the rifle

just wondering, ..with the elevation wheel on the stock, ..you mentioned,when fully seated down, and lock it with the locking wheel underneath it stops the wobble, ...will it have the same effect if the cheek riser is raised halfway ..will it eliminate wobble by raising the stock half way or (+ or -) a desired level?..another words, does the small wheel lock have 2 purposes ..1) to access the elevation wheel, and 2) an anti wobble device?

For accuracy, is this chassis a substitute for a match grade barrel..being that it has points of adjustment for accuracy gains, adding much tighter tolerances?

It's not a substitute for a match grade barrel, but it will typically improve the accuracy of nearly any rifle that it's installed on.

Whoa, i just checked the price on this chassis...it cost more than the rifle itself, and twice as more than the Sage EBR...when one is all complete..with scope ,trigger job,etc, they would have spent close to $5 k on the platform, providing one is going with a US Optic B-10 scope for Medium Range work(1,000+ yards)

Honest question, what makes this stock worth buying at more than the gun itself?

It's an engineering marvel and built like a tank! It will most likely make any M14/M1A shoot better and it can be tuned. My M14 shoots exceptionally well in this chassis. Sub-MOA over entire range sessions. Some see the value in it, others don't.

What were the size groups did this rig shoot? You mentioned before and after targets in the video but must have run out of time.

Very nice groups, my National Match doesn't do that good at 100 yards.

I like it better than a wood bedded stock, but it's in a class of its own. The wood will be much lighter and appeals to different people.

JAE went out of business last year. The patents and machinery was sold to MDT who should re-release the chassis in the summer.
