Alex, Lovely to see a thriving Jaffna again with happy people. Once upon a time it used to be the second city after Colombo, but of course the 30 year war changed all that. Yet they still smile even when you want to rob the jewelry store @12:00. And yes the Tamil people love their gold jewelry , far more than the Sinhalese hence the preponderance of jewelry shops in Jaffna. You would also have seen a number of jewelry stores in Wellawatte in Colombo another Tamil area, also fondly known as little Jaffna.

As sinhala kandyan after watching this I felt really proud about our tamil brothers let's forget the past and let's build a new country together as one! Jaffna what a beauty!!!

As a srilankan sinhalese i been jaffna one time only. After war( 2010) That time jaffna not much develop. So after watch this video next my vacation i will definitely visit to jaffna and enjoy with my srilankan tamil brothers and sisters 👍😎 cheers..

My parents visited once in life to jaffna after get married, then after we grew up there was a war then I been to Jaffna to our Buddhist temple NAAGADEEPA after war 2016 as a Sinhalease Buddhist person ,so sad people trying to divide my beautiful mother land. Guys visit Places in Tourist guide . That lots of places in historic cities and Buddhist temples.
