The Season of The Dryad has begun in Gwent, and with it, a new Seasonal Mode. Units with even power boost by one at the end of your turn, and units with odd power are damaged. This allows Northern Realms to shine as you can use boosts to gain extra points by making your units even powered. As such combos with boosts and charges can be very impactful. This list utilises boosts from Vysogota, Nenneke or Kaedweni Seargent. Charges can be added to these with Priscilla and Aretuza Adepts. Temerian Drummers, Egmund and Tridam Infantry provide additional boost engines. Donimir allows these to be protected, while Anseis, Heatwave and Boiling Oil give removal. Oneiromancy and Amphibious Assault plus John Natalis make the deck very consistent.

I believe the rot tosser’s cows were killed before they could actually kill themselves and apply poison. Thanks for the seasonal deck! Will definitely give it a try.

Nice to see your videos again!! I thought the best faction was Skellige, since boosts are always good (of course) and there are a lot of units that benefit from damage. But this is far more consistent once you set Vysogota it's a GG. Sweet deck.

@16:14 it didn't get poisoned as it was a 1 level card which the game destroyed even before it could poison as it season rules says it will damage odd units, so the enemy failed to do any damage.

This is only my 3rd season playing gwent. I learnt the SK second Wind boat deck from you and very quickly it got nerf and then now the leader is totally gone. Well fun while it lasted. Waiting for another pro rank ladder deck from you for this new season 😊 You are one of my favourite gwent streamers because you explain clearly your deck play and why. Very few streamers do that. Plus point is you're cute too 😊

Hey, love your content! I am new in Gwent, but I think I noticed something: 23:12 it would be better to play the card on the far left or far right, because next to the drummer, it will just go up and down 1 strength every round (=stay on 3). But if the drummer stays next to an even card, the even card will boost every round by 2. Or am I missing something here?

Yeah it's generally better to do that unless you want to use it to make something more survivable. Yes it would stay on 3 but at least it wouldn't go down to 2. Then later you can boost it to even numbers and it grows 2 per turn

Made a Call of Harmony deck with Vitality and Dwarves. Found good success with it. But I think my deck will get decimated against this deck. Looks like I will have to start carrying Yrden this season 😅

Hi Jaggerous I think the cow carcass got destroyed before it could poison your units because you are playing seesaw that is why it didnt show it did not hapoen

Yeah it seems like the damage/boost triggers before any onboard effects
