For anyone sad for Lua, it wouldn't be safe to let her in the enclosure. Its possible the jaguars do not recognize her and see her as food. Is also possible that she is recognized and still eaten anyway as big cats eat their young occasionally. Either way its not safe

We were so sweet you’re black jaguar is beautiful. She is so beautiful and so sweet so sweet of you to reunite her with her family. She really misses them and I miss her back. She is adorable sweet kind and she would really love to have a walk and see her family again. I’m really happy that you did this

I think I read somewhere that momma dog seemed to recognize the scent of her babies... or was it a grown-up puppy recognizing a towel that'd been rubbed on his mom recently? Dog was presented with several scent objects and spent the most time sniffing the one which had a blood family member's scent on it.

As a mother who lost a child to coerced adoption, it would have tortured me to have someone show me my baby they stole through a fence, didn’t allow me to touch and love him it would hurt so much. Animals know and it’s unkind to tale a baby from their mother no matter how much money that baby will make the zoo.

While I see your point, and I somewhat agree, I have to tell you that you are coming at this from a human point of view. Unfortunately, just like humans get rid of their children, let it either be via abortion, adoption, abandonment or murder, it also happens with animals. There is another video, where Amber had another baby and they left said baby with her, and next day the baby was gone. She ate it 💔😭 Just like you needed to have been given time, to decide for yourself if you were going to let your baby go or not, I think these keepers are trying give these big cats the opportunity to adjust, and frankly is for the baby 's safety. I don't know your circumstances, but am sorry that you have that ache in your heart. I am a believer that is never too late and as a mother myself, I would go to the end of the earth to get my baby back, and if that isn't possible ( I would refuse to accept it) but I would still settle for a relationship with my child. Stay strong. I truly hope that you get to see your child again. You are in my prayers!
