What’s the point. ? The modifications aren’t too bad, but if they were worthwhile, Jaguar would have made the E like this at the beginning. That said, outwardly it closely resembles the Lightweight E.

Jags with shaved bumpers and screwed up dash and console modifications always look like crap. Destroys the classic value. I would never buy a jag this messed up.

There’s nothing stopping a future owner from putting this back to original if they so choose. But having seen and driven plenty there’s room for many interpretations of this classic as long as the work is top notch. This one will survive for many many years thanks to the current owner. It’s not like they only made a few hundred of them so let’s enjoy them all while we can.
