Hello, I have been considering both 8-inch and 10-inch upgrades for two months now. I have the 8-inch Harmon Kardon system in my FPACE in Australia. I like both Android models, and understand both will work with my 2017 FPACE, 3ltr TT Diesel Prestige, may I ask a few questions: -Does the Android auto require a wired USB or Bluetooth/WIFI ? -Do you need a SIM card? Or can you use Android Hot Spot from your phone to use apps? -If I show you a picture of my 8-inch screen, could your team customise the side buttons ( 8-inch to the new 10-inch so they look and function the same as my old push-button ones)? - Or should I just go for the 8-inch upgrade? -Is this the latest model shown, considering it is now July 2024? - Sound - Does the Android sound system use the AUX? Only when in Android mode? For ~$1200 Australian, I just want to know that I am getting a great sound; it's a big outlay if the system does not perform well and support is a few thousand kilometres away. Cheers ML

Ok, so in ascending order, - No it can be wired or connected via Bluetooth -A SIM card isn't necessary, it can be connected to a Mobile Hotspot, although a SIM is convenient -The buttons can be customised in the back-end settings to match up with the buttons you had originally -This would be the latest model we've got for it, there are two ranges, the HV and the GMV, the GMV is the newer version although personally, I prefer the HV style UI over the GMV version, -The system does use the car's AUX for audio through anything on the new Android OS Side of the system, and can be changed to go back to the original DAB or Radio or whatever, but would always need to be set to AUX to get audio out the Android OS. Hi, are these self install for amateurs? Or would you recommend having them professionally fitted ?

for these systems, we would most likely recommend an autoelectrician do the work, the jaguars and the range rovers aren't too bad to do if you've had some experience, but for the most part they don't come with great instructions on how to get the system installed

Hello, did you figured out for self park button ? Thanks For the parking sensor, it work only in reverse gear

We're still doing tests on the options on the original side of the system for this unit, so I'm not completely too sure, however with the access you've got it should be possible, for the parking sensors, yes they only work in reverse gear
