Marcelo Schultz true, one little slip and he’s gone. But then again I’ve always found that cars have way more grip than you think they do, especially when you drive them on track and get to really test the limits.

Really hope Jaguar makes a modern day version of the XFR, like they did with the XE SV Project 8. The XFR was a great bang for buck car in its category back when it launched in 2009.

I agree, thats why I hold on to my 2010 XF Supercharged. It has the same Supercharged V8 found in the XFR. Someone actually tried to argue that the new V6 Supercharged XF is better.

That is one very sweet V8 power plant there. Love the way it revs cleanly to the redline everytime and the noise is growly without being tiresome. Although I have criticized the boring looking dashboard, kudos to Jaguar for having clear round dials for speedo and tacho they way they should be! BMW should learn from Jaguar in this particular respect, please? As a side note, I don't think the wipers were designed for high-speed driving in the wet - LOL! Would love to see this Jaguar let loose on the autobahn in dry conditions! Great video, by the way!

Nice! When I decide to upgrade my 99 XJR, I am considering one of these. I felt sorry for those poor wipers, I could feel the effort they were going through to push past the huge air pressure at 130+mph!!

Really great video, I have a 2010 XF-R and would never do that in the rain! Of course we don’t have an Autobahn in Texas either lol. The power is hard-hitting for sure.

for some reason the XFR 2011+ are limited to 155mph, but in my dad 2010 Jag XFR we went 160 odd mph.

At 8:15 Was that yellow light that flashed for a split second at the bottom of the rev counter the Check Engine light ? or Traction Control light ?? - I am 90% sure it was the Traction Control light but losing traction at those speeds seems pretty scary !! ... so maybe one wheel lost traction as he was redlining it before it changed up a gear ? - Fab car and great videoing ! - I love the head camera view !

Probably is scared but overrides the fear with balls. You can also see this phenomenon with the motorcycle riders at the Isle of Man TT, big wave competition surfers, Travis Pastrana and Navy Seals.

CyanideZA yup. Cars like hellcats and demons are exceptions... they dont tend to break down because well they are built to be beat on. Ps. Im not a dodge fanboy by any means i drive a 5.0 mustang and i wanna supercharge it but im torn because of the weight thatll cause on the front end and how that will impact turning. Reliability never struck me because roush offers ford warranty. The kit makes around 700hp i believe but you can definitely go to 1k with VMP
