Jagwire Inline Cable Adjusters
As described in the video, my CX bike really needed some added adjustment. With the natural stretch in the cable after installation, the gears had become sloppy. I didn’t want to keep on adjusting the tension at the derailleur by pulling more cable through so I decided to install these adjusters.
It’s a super easy job - a few snips here and a couple of extra end caps and... you’re done.
Admittedly, I made a bit of a cock up with the adjustment first time round but it is corrected.
The adjusters will help when the cable stretches out of tolerance again. A quick tweak of the barrel and the tension should be back in the cable.
