Jai Opetaia - Is an Australian professional boxer. He held the International Boxing Federation (IBF) from 2022 until December 2023 (he vacated the title due to a disagreement with the IBF). He currently holds the Ring magazine and lineal Cruiserweight titles. As an amateur, he won a bronze medal at the 2012 Youth World Championships and represented Australia at the 2012 Olympics and 2014 Commonwealth Games. His current professional record stands at 24-0 with 19 KO's.

The best Cruiserweight in the world today! Jai Opetaia has a perfect professional record of 24-0 with 19 KO's and had a tremendous win against Mairis Briedis in 2022 to capture the IBF title. Crazy how this man is now the most dangerous man in the world. I will always remember the day o hit him up on Facebook before he was a big name and reply instantly and it made my day. I nope nothing but the most absolute best for this young man. I’m blessed to be a snippet of this man’s journey to greatness.

This guy looks the absolute goods, fierce and very skilled, not to mention harder than a boot nail (ref: Bredis fight). He beat up two very promising UK contenders with ease. Fairly beat Breidis who was #1 at cruiser. I'd like to see him fight Goulimarian who IMO is the other top guy and is quite underrated

Well right now Opetaia hasn't earned a shot at the Heavyweight title because he's a Cruiserweight. I do agree that it would be a great fight though but as far as I know he wants to remain as a Cruiser for the moment.
