Mumbai is set to get a new suburban rail corridor with the construction of the Panvel-Karjat rail line, including a 2.6km tunnel, the longest in the city's suburban railway. The line will connect Navi Mumbai with the Raigad district and is part of efforts to reach untapped areas of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Work is expected to be completed by 2026.

Requested so many times. Please cover kalyan yard remodeling project. Mutp 3 a project of 900 crs. Work already started. Existing goods yard lines are dismantled. Earthwork done on acquired land. 6 new platforms are getting constructed. Suburban and express train traffic are getting segregated. The new terminal would be 300 meters away from existing station. It is adjacent to kalyan diesel loco shed. Please, make a vlog on this.

@@JaideepKane thanks for reply. From whom do you get authentic info? Means from railway authorities? If that is the case then info regarding this project was published by ministry of railway website in past. It was also published in newspapers. The project is included in list of projects uploaded on central railway website.

मैं एक रेल फैन हूं और पूरे देश में जो रेलवे के काम हो रहे हैं मुझे देखना और उनके बारे में पढ़ना अच्छा लगता है.मुझे लगता है कि मोदी गवर्नमेंट में रेलवे का काम जितना हुआ है आज तक कभी किसी ने नहीं किया.चाहे इलेक्ट्रिफिकेशन काम या लाइन को डबलिंग ट्रिपलिंग का काम ,नई लाइन बिछाने का काम नई ट्रेनों को लाने का काम ऐसी बहुत सारे काम है जो जिसमें सरकार ने बहुत सारे पैसे इन्वेस्ट किया.ऐसा पहले इतना नहीं किया गया . और मुझे लगता है कि अभी भी हम बहुत पीछे हैं सुरक्षित यात्रा करवाने में.

I appreciate your efforts. I used to work in a large infrastructure consulting company which is based in UK and is well known for Suez Canal, London Eye etc. In india Delhi Metro and Terminal building at IGI airport are some marquee projects. I have a lot of suggestions for you. But I'm happy you are covering infrastructure well.

So I've been to Chikhale station recently, particularly to see this projects progress, the point where the steel structure bridge/girder starts, there are bunch of minor cracks in that supporting concrete framework, which is purple I color, on both sides of the structure, I don't know what level cracks are safe or not, if you know, then please correct me.

Though it shows poor quality of workmanship mostly, no construction goes without cracks. Unless they are crazy ones, chill.

Hatsoff to your efforts. It's a great Progress. 1. Can you please clarify that the suburban network will be having 2 tracks exclusively for locals along with existing single line? As per the progress by your videos i can imagine the starting & end is going to be 2 tracks for suburban system. But unable to imagine the same in between of the section. 2. Any plans of MRVC to have triple line between Kalyan- Kasara & Kalyan-Karjat? Do cover WDFC & also throw some light on Package 18 of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway (Connection of Package 17 & Alibaug Multimodal transport Project)

Great info Dada. Will they merge Panvel - Karjat suburban terminus with CR? So, people who wants to travel by both routes can easily access, instead for running between stations. Generally, Railway should have plan to have terminus in old station only. Another question is what is the plan for Express single line between Karjat - Panvel? Is there any plan to double it or will it remain as it is?

Most probably all suburban trains will terminate at Karjat Terminus only so no need to change stations (Need to confirm this) That single line will remain as it is as of now

Please make a vlog on ahmadnagar station development and daund manmad doubling progress. Ahmadnagar station is getting redeveloped under amrit bharat project in which it will have elevated deck a multiple deck lobby and entrance on both sides. Work is under progress. Construction started. Now construction of new platforms started behind platform number 2

After completing Panvel KARJAT line local via Panvel will terminate at new terminal but, CSMT - KARJAT सध्या येणाऱ्या लोकल ज्या व्हाया ठाणे, कल्याण, बदलापूर येणार त्या या नवीन टर्मिनल ला येणार की सध्या च्या जुन्या कर्जत स्टेशन वर जाणार??? Please confirm !!!

@@JaideepKane Please confirm if it is possible at this early stage. Ideally all local train should stop at new terminal only to provide proper interchange between CR mainline & Harbour line. But still passenger from mail express who get down at old Karjat station have to walk 500meter to reach new suburban terminal.

@saamirsyed4261 Woi to bola aapko padhna nahi ata. Theek se padho , there will be direct services from VT to Karjat via Harbour line. VT to Panvel is Harbour line and Panvel to Karjat is new suburban line. Not part of Harbour line. So VT to Karjat Via Harbour menas VT to Panvel Harbour hota hai dost.
