Only chance mungia has to be undisputed is if Canelo retires and benavidez moves up to 175, but even then I can still see fighters like Caleb plant beating him. Highly doubt he will be anything great especially with how protected he’s been his entire career.

Undisputed at 168? Ok lets see Mu guia against someone whos not on the edge of retiring like Sergey Derevyanchenko, or Ryder. Lets see him fight the other big guys cutting weight to make 168 like Mbili, Morrel jr, Benavidez, a win over damaged goods Ryder is the best on his resume tho. He has a lot of work to do and im from Tijuana, i like Jaimes fights he has heart but hes barely getting on track

None of that matters because he only has to fight one person to be undisputed at the weight class and NONE of the guys you mentioned are that guy. If he gets that Cinco De Mayo shot at Canelo, he has a chance to be undisputed.

@@foxwolf316I do understand your point. They're valid. Canelo could lose the titles to a PBC fighter and no one but PBC fighters will them again. Jaime could lose his hunger. And many other things could happen. But that's a lot IFs... Jaime has shown improvement with evey fight. Jaime doesn't have an amatur background but he is responding properly to each and every fight as he goes along. Even if Jaime loses to Canelo, he could be undisputed eventually. It will take a lot of discipline though. At least for 168. If people really paid attention to the weigh-in, Jaime was showing dehydration symptoms. He was shaking and chose to remain sitted until called up. His face and eyes seem like he was not all there. So maybe he balooned in between fights and it was a tough camp or He's outgrowing 168 fast. Jaime is a big guy. So I think there's a sense of urgency on Jaime team to go for Canelo asap. Plus, Canelo has 2 or 3 more fights in him. Good ones. He won't challenge himself forever
