Bivol’s smart w/ a great defense, keeping it humble as always , great guy , he lets his boxing do all the talking. He also didn’t let his opponent get to his head w/ all that taunting.

Any fighter is beatable if its not his day. The best thing about Bivol is that he always keeps the possibility of losing ("if i win...") so he stays hopeful yet humble. Such a model boxer and the best of the generation!

These Russians have a great amateur program and they compete with boxers from every nation on earth. So when they turn pro they dont care who you are or where you are from, they only care about being the best in the ring. Very good attitudes and respect for all opponents.

Bivol and Beterbiev are great light heavies, we haven’t had a rivalry at LHW of this caliber since Roy Jones Jr and Antonio Tarver. Exceptional pure boxer v exceptional pressure fighter. Anytime I see a fan pretend either of them is mediocre or not skilled I laugh. Artur Beterbiev was a fantastic amateur with wins over guys like Oleksandr Usyk, and Michael Hunter, all while weighing under 190 pounds. He was an amateur world champion, a feat that’s harder to achieve than a world title in the 4 belt era. This is a genuine 50/50 fight, all depending on if Beterbiev can age overnight, and if Bivol can get past his pressure and work rate. Beterbiev doesn’t get credit, but none of his opponent outbox him. Bivol, is a pure boxer of a high degree, but he has underrated heavy hands, he doesn’t throw with torque or killer instinct, but when he wants a guy badly he can hurt them. Watch him OHKO the durable Barrera, or hurt the durable Joe Smith Jr. There’s a reason Canelo was unable to walk him down. Fighters find themselves struggling to win even 1-3 rounds against Bivol. I pray this is of Usyk Fury caliber.

Canelo is the only fighter in history to unify titles from 154 to 168, and 1-1 vs champs at 175 when only one other fighter in history has done it moving up that many divisions. Meanwhile Bivol decisioned the smaller man moving up but has never even unified his one career division despite being the same age as Canelo. If Bivol beats Beterbiev then moves up to continue unifying against bigger champs then he compare his resume to Canelo but he's never shown a willingness to take those risks and had even been aging out Beterbiev until he was 40.

@@californio1850 certainly. Plus the fact that canelo won the first 4 rounds and bivol showed huge respect for his power. It's only Canelo's poor preparation in training due to his hand injury that he ran out of gas. It was overconfidence from Canelo's part that he went ahead with the fight, instead of attending to his injury and postponing the fight. But what can I tell you, some ignorant losers choose to hate, rather than have the brains to look at the facts. Jealousy I suppose.

We’ve seen boxing fanatics how precisely humbled Bivol’s personality he is! Great person and great boxers one of the best of this era and a deserved in p4p at number 4 on the chart list! His best resume win against canelo 10 rounds out of 12 rounds great achievements tho but his power is not enough to hurt canelo way smaller fighter either at 168 or 175 pounder! Can’t wait the light heavyweight unified clash between beterbiev vs bivol one of the best fights could offer in decade although I gave beterbiev has an edge over bivol if Arthur is healthy and same beast power puncher and great technical boxer as well he was.

Footwork and keeping the distance. He wont allow beterbiev to load his combinstions against him. He has the best offence defence switch ive ever seen in a Boxer. In my opinion bivol will win via unanimous decision.

Punch stats prove otherwise. Take the flash knockdown away in the first and it was indeed a competitive fight. Bivol got hit more here than in any other fight I can remember. He BETTER not get hit like this against Beterbiev.

@@Djuane it’s actually relevant cus bivol got touched up by a style that usually would favor him. Imagine a pressure fighter with higher boxing iq than malik and better punch placement and set up. Bivol loves a stationary target wanting to counter punch so he can go in n out and pepper him.

You can call him a one trick pony all you like, as long as it works it don't matter. Not taking anything away from Beterbiev tho, the guy a true beast.

I think that Beterbiev and Zinad have completely different styles. Beterbiev is all pressure, all of the time, and Zinad counted on disrupting Bivol's timing and making him worried about counters. Zinad also put his glove in Bivol's face A LOT during this fight, which is measuring, which is illegal, and I am surprised the referee said nothing. Bivol/Beterbiev is a 50/50 fight for me.

Bivol has nothing more than a perfect trio of punches, which he repeats over and over again until he wears out his opponent. The entire Soviet style of boxing breaks down when it comes to close combat, and Arthur knows how to work with it. People like you screamed the same thing when the fight with Gvozdyk was supposed to take place. They promised that Gvozdik would actually declassify Arthur. But Arthur raped Gvozdik like some kind of street punk, simply not allowing him to play his Soviet shitty boxing. Bivol has only two options. Wait for Arthur to get tired and then hit his Redneck Soviet three strikes. Or run back all the rounds trying to win back only points, as is done in amateur boxing. But Arthur is a problem because he knows very well the one-sidedness of Bivol’s boxing and this whole shitty Soviet school of boxing, which people like you love to extol so much, who are guided by their feelings as a woman, and do not look at reality as it is.
