Hiya folks. I know everybody's probably already seen this one over 1000 times but I wanted to reupload with subtitles since some people prefer it that way. This one still remains my favorite cinematic over on Alliance, just because of that huge reveal of Tandred at the end. Especially considering he was deemed non-canon like twice in 2011/2013 by Blizzard hehe! P.S I know some don't like subtitles because they're distracting and take away from the video so I'm trying to find middle ground on what version people prefer.

Honestly the best part of this cinematic besides Tandred being so BAMF is Ashvane's horrified reaction to the silhouette's in the clouds, and how she basically just blue screens from that point on.

I think I get it. Admiral Proudmoore was a mage, right? So what if the pendant is a portal charm that can recall the fleet in an instant like a hearthstone? That’s a pretty significant power to defend Kul Tiras, and explains why Katherine could n’t recall the fleet from wherever they’d been.

He is classed as a hydromancer but seemed to only do warrior abilities. Id assume either he was a low key mage, or the pendant has a mind of its own and only works on the "true" lord admiral (like how the doom hammer left thrall in legion)

Well traditionally, it's a lot more valuable to capture ships in naval warfare, then destroy them. They cost a lot of money! But once you have them on your side, all you have to do is change the flags.

Erhm, Kul-Tiras fleetships alre longer: have more cannons then the smaller pirate ships, but also: have an extra deck full of Cannons: 1 Kul-Tiras ship, out-guns about 3-4 Pirate-vessels. And the Pirates are drastically outnumbered lol. Its either Surrendercraft of 'Just a smoky red pool in the sea-craft"

I don't think so, since from what I heard there isn't a cinematic at the end of kings rest, unless that finale cinematic is the one for the end, and even then the cinematics are faction locked I think

I feel like blizzard should just end wow and create an epic 3d animated tv series. Imagine this scene and the one where jaina's mother sees the truth of her life in the higher calibur of the expansion cinematics. That's a show I'd watch every damn week for sure. This cinematic shows something more important - that civility still remains and in the end we don't engage in total slaughter. Traitors are punished and families are reunited. For rampage and bloodshed one should look to the Horde instead.

I'm not sure I get it... did the pendant somehow summon a fleet? Or the fleet was coming anyway and the pendant didn't do anything? It's really hard to tell what the hell is supposed to be happening in these cinematics conceptually.

I'm not 100% sure either too me it seems like a whole bunch happened at the same time, the pendant lighting up acted as a lighthouse, also there is lighting in the fog and nothing... but then another bolt of lightning and the silhouette of all the ships... like they just appeared, lastly Jaina's comment "There you are" with her eyes glowing to me made it seem like some magic use was involved... too me the chances seem astronomical that the fleet just happened to be right there at the right time so I almost feel like Jaina may have teleported the fleet of ships.

The fleet was supposedly trapped in a permanent storm by Azshara. The pendant Jaina uses is her father's which was always meant to guide the fleet home.

pendant was used to cast something similar to Mass Recall and teleported fleet from random place to harbour

arnold jayeola which she clearly forgot to use when the fel reaver caught the gunship on the broken isles, and yes she WAS there, she made the bridge to thr big red demon who fucked up Tirion and even yelled NOOOOO

The Kul Tiran fleet had been trapped at sea by the traitorous Tide Sages under command of Lord Stormsong. They tried to sacrifice the fleet to Queen Azshara, which failed when Stormsong met the pointy end of an Alliance sword. But the fleet remained trapped in some sort of self-made Bermuda Triangle and needed a beacon to find back home. Jaine acted kind of like a Lighthouse for them and brought them back. Or at least that is what the Alliance storyline in Stormsong Valley would suggest.
