महावीर स्वामी ने अपना प्रथम उपदेश राजगीर/राजगृह (बिहार) में बितूलाचल पहाड़ी पर वाराकर नदी के तट पर अर्धमागधी(आर्ष प्राकृत) भाषा में दिया। Mahavir Swami gave his first sermon in the Ardhamagadhi (Arsha Prakrit) language on the banks of the Varakar river on the Bitulachal hill in Rajgir/Rajgriha (Bihar).
