Күн бұрынFor my first time, I tried 'Kerak Telor'. That's Betawi food from Jakarta, a traditional spicy omelette dish. Furthermore I ate Pempek, a savoury Indonesian fish cake that is originally from Palembang in South Sumatra.
While waiting for my food, I had the great idea to buy some ice cream for the kids. And after I finished my Kerak Telur and Pempek, I got myself some ice cream as well.
This Street Food Market is located in front of JIEXPO / Jakarta International Expo / Jakarta Fair Exhibition. Inside this exhibition I found some more food and drinks that I've tried.
And as you know me...I'm always in the mood for some silly joked and things to do. Hope you enjoy this video! Cheers...

I love being able to travel and share the joy with others such as the way you brought ice cream for the kids! I tried buying candy and offering it to kids in Bangkok, who refused, because I think they thought I had ulterior motives but, I worked children in mental health crisis center and try to bring joy to them when I could. Keep up the good work Carlos!

56:43 KERAK means, overcooked rice. So, when the rice change the color become black or brown and crispy, it is taste good and people try to make a dish with a little modificate and add some spices, eggs and ingredients

Kerak telor is the icon of Jakarta fair that's why so many sellers there, kerak means the burning part in the bottom of the omelette that's been made from sticky rice. Martabak telor and kerak telor is originally and lot nicer with the duck egg but because the duck eggs more expensive they made it cheaper with the chicken egg.

I have to agree that sounds are above 70dB and could hurt people hearings, it’s horrible. Government needs to start slowly audits these companies to improve community health & safety, same thing with motor cycle and bus transportation, some of the loud sounds is ok once a while but not in a long period of time. I enjoyed the long video btw!❤

Knalpot sound is the worst sound ever I guess 🧨🤣 And especially if there's a sound that repeats over and over again like these ice cream sellers...how can people not go crazy?! especially the sales persons 😨

I remember my childhood I had to wait in front of my house for my favorite ibuk selling mie pecel or abang ice cream going in our neighborhood with bicycles. All kids played outside & that’s the sound normally heard, no speakers nor heavy knalpot sound. It’s ridiculous now in modern society even locals didn’t complaints for those loud speaker sounds, maybe not enough power/ authority. We can get $10 decibel meter here not sure how much in 🇮🇩 but it will interesting vlog doing a test/ challenge to know how much those noise pollution.
