He reminds me a lot of my cousin, who is a lifer in the Army. You'd think the stress and intensity would shape him to be such a tough guy. Nope. One of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Would rather joke about himself than make fun of somebody else

there was nothing fun about it unless you also think WWE is fun.. it was so fake and cringy from start to finish.. there was never a chance for fun.. within2 mins, LITERALLY 2 mins in and the fake CGI fight scene from post malone and it was downhill ro there.. pure WWE, makes no sense but STUPID will enjoy it cause fast camera movements and people almost looking like they hit each other..

@@tabathaogost4982 They did use quite a bit of CGI, but they also used all the practical tricks in the book (and invented some new ones). All together it looks great - except the Post Malone fight, yes. But all of Jake's fights are insanely believable and gripping. The last fight has me breathless every time. And I agree, there is so much fun lightheartedness!

Jake and Conor would be great in a buddy movie--cops or smugglers or something retro--Conor always taunting guys and mixing it up, hot for a fight; Jake the sarcastic one with the long, slow burn.

That reminds me of Tom Holland's start to his Lip Synch battle w/ Singin' in the Rain, then segueing into Rihanna's Umbrella & doing the full choreo! Too bad that pre-dates them meeting on Spider-Man Far From Home by 2-years, but explains why they get along so well. 😅

It's not natural, yeah, but at least it's not the mess that was the Life press junket a few years ago - Ryan Reynolds and Jake seemed so exhausted and just over it. The resulting interviews are kinda hilarious, ofc, but I feel for them when I watch them!

Jake comes across as a really charming and likeable person. He's a fantastic actor, but I feel this movie was below his talent. Yet, I highly respect his commitment. It's terribly hard to achieve such a chiseled body.

The writing of it and characters motivation was pretty terrible. Dalton: "I will have a black coffee." Bartender:"we don't have that here. Only Cuban coffee" Dalton: "okay I will have that. OH that really good!" But Cuban coffee is just espresso with sugar. Also has this man never had coffee with sweetener?😂 Also we need it to make it look like accident. Then later it's revealed that the sheriff is in their pocket so why do they have to make things look like an accident 😅😅 Then most of the fight scenes felt fake. I know it is normally faked but the sounds of the punches didn't match the screen.

Road house is the fakest fight movie of all time. no story. and the worst acting i have ever seen by that tool McGregor.. he even failed at walking.. watch the movie..
