4 күн бұрынThe Russians have begun sending their wounded soldiers into frontline assaults before these soldiers have had a chance to heal or rehabilitate. Russia's vehicle shortage has become extreme as they are increasingly relying on cheap motorcycles from China to go on assaults. The Russian government plans to start banning the "dangerous ideology" that it is acceptable for Russian women to not have children.

I think it's pretty obvious they are brainwashed and cannot do self thinking. Doing so would blow up their entire belief system and social construct. No one would think going on foot in wave attacks is smart use of manpower and wanting the best for it's people. "Gas" is not gasoline in russia and Europe ... So when gasprom says they're raising gas prices for russian consumers, it's gas that they'll be paying more for, not petrol for their cars. Thanks Jake for always being there for Ukraine and us ... And democracy ! Love and support from Australia 🌏🌎🌍💙🌊

“Gas” means natural gas, ie methane, that is pumped through infrastructure pipelines to businesses and people’s homes. The fuel used for cars is called either gasoline or petrol. The price hike means it’s more expensive to heat your home, cook on your stove, or dry your clothes, assuming you even have such appliances. Municipal infrastructure such as hot water and electricity will also increase in price. Russians will soon have to choose between rent, utilities, and food.

It drives me nuts to see the media label him a British volunteer. Since moving to the UK three years ago, I've noticed a lot of this. Even famous academics that were born and bred South African being called British as soon as they immigrate. You're treated as a second class citizen coming from Africa until you've got some sort of claim to fame then you're all of a sudden British. There’s many political parties in many countries that tout this nonsense. They try to come across as peace loving and trying to save lives, but that’s just a smokescreen. What they’re really saying is that Ukraine should allow Russia to keep the occupied territories for the sake of peace. If Europe had taken that attitude in 1942 then all of Europe and the former USSR would be speaking German, the Jews would be extinct, and a Nazi kleptocracy would be running everything. It was worth it to continue fighting, pay the price, defeat the Nazis, and create the Europe we have today.

XD I, as a German am laughing so hard that the Russians have to raise the Gas price for their own people. I have actually managed to lower the Price with my provider and I am paying about half of what I have been paying before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. German dependency on Russian gas was a myth all along, like everything about Russias relevance in the modern world.

@@ShawNshawN Sweden has big problems with recent immigration by Middle Eastern refugees, but in the US and UK the most problematic minorities are long-established ones. The most problematic minority in the US are ghetto blacks, who are if anything more "American" than the whites (given that they descend from slaves imported pre-1808, while the US had mass white immigration in the 19th and early 20th centuries), while Britain's most problematic minority are Mirpuris who immigrated from Pakistan shortly after WWII to work in the textile mills of northern England (which have now all closed). I wonder which category France falls into?

As a Hungarian who doesn't support Orban, I'm happy that he went to Ukraine for this meeting. Hopefully the relation between the 2 countries will be better over time. I'm sure our government won't start supplying weapons, but I can think of medical aid to be sent to Ukraine in big amount or wounded soldiers to be sent to Hungary to heal them here. Hungary becoming the EU leader for 6 months is not a big issue. It will pass and it's not that important. Fact check: Transcarpathia oblast is where there's a Hungarian minority in Ukraine. Even there less than 15% of the population were ethnic Hungarians before the war. There are settlements with ethnic Hungarian majority of course on its western edge. Grabbing some land from Ukraine as a spoil of war was never ever mentioned by any high ranking politician. In fact, I don't understand why the government is supporting the Russians this much.

@andrakis80 Orcban is an irredentist. He's also personally responsible for the depopulation of Hungarians in that area by giving them Hungarian citizenship and safety in Hungary. Yet he still wants this territory of former Kingdom of Hungary. He's now using this minority as a sort of Donetsk People's Republic to force Ukraine to implement his and Putin's will to make Ukraine collapse by demanding an one-sided Ukrainian ceasefire. This visit wasn't positive, it was a visit of intimidation by the Russian fascists, but I get it it needs some positive view, because before Ukraine is giving the KO to Russia there's going to be a lot of headwind.

The day the Ukrainian generals actually start to believe that UAVs are an actual weapon that deserves to be used as a stand alone air force is the day Ukraine wins the war . It has taken nearly 2 years for the generals to appreciate just how well Maygar's birds work and elevated them to a stand alone regiment with access to the entire range of drones

@@GCarty80 No. More like huge armies of poorly trained conscripts are equalizer to modern armies. Large numbers of heap expendable trash can compensate quality to a degree. But they are not a game changers. Especially against prepared enemy. In reality relatively small numbers of tanks was destroyed by FPV drones. Majority was destroyed by artillery and anti-tank weapons. And that despite fact that Ukrainians have relatively poor SHORAD. The actual new quality is scale of front line awareness. But it is actually the West who dominate in that zone and basically invented drone surveillance (actual one). FPV drones are just poor man ATGM's. Lancet literally is just a extended range ATGM. Not a drone. Israeli Harpy can literally seek targets on its own. Trophy APS can already take out drones. It is literally nothing new. It actually explained why West start dusting off old short range Anti-Air systems in last decades.

@@gerryhouska2859 The problem with cope cages and motorcycles is that the cope cages is a metal net. It won't protect the rider the same as it protects the armour of an APC. Shrapnel from the explosion will pass through the net and will still hit the rider. Only armour armound the rider would protect him. Cope cases only make the bikes slower and less maneuverable and thus easier to hit. Did the russians think this through properly?

Because Ukraine will stand with you!” It’s so chilling because I remember seeing that video and at the end I said “They do need the bloody weapons yesterday.” I totally agreed!! Idk t understand why Republicans (some R. sympathies with Ukraine) blocked aid… it didn’t make sense to me? Did some R. want Russia to win? How does that benefit America ??? Awesome work Jake!

The fact that Russia wants to continue starting wars after Ukraine is laughable. The Russian military would get steamrolled by Poland alone, let alone the rest of NATO. Hell, if Russia starts looking like it's going to win this war (it won't) Poland would likely join the fight just to keep the Russians as far away from their border as possible.

Thank you Jake for letting us know what is happening in Ukraine. Those people are all heroes. People don't understand how they are fighting for their freedom. In my opinion every Ukrainian death is a tragedy. The United States should be sending soldiers and the hell with Russia. I feel so sad about Pete. He was a hero. My sympathy goes out to his family. He was a good man and his loss is a tragedy.

Hungary does not have access to the sea. They can't import their gas and oil by ship. They are getting their energy from Russia. Plus technology for their nuclear power plant. The gaspipe supplying Hungary and running through Ukraine is the shortest and most economical one. And Ukraine does not want to prolongue the transit agreement beyond 2024. I think that is the main reason why Orban went to Kiev.

A small correction. Ukraine doesn't have a Hungarian speaking region, but it has a region which has a history of being occupied by Hungary a long time ago. That is possibly what Orban dreams of when noone watches.

Zakarpattia Oblast: between the World Wars it was part of Czechoslovakia. As Czechoslovakia fell apart in March 1939 it briefly declared independence as Carpatho-Ukraine but was conquered by Hungary in just a few days -- however Ukrainian nationalists today like to claim that the defense of Carpatho-Ukraine was the first armed resistance to Axis aggression in Europe.

@@GCarty80 Interesting, I however was not referring to this brief period. Zakarpattia has been under Hungarian rule for much longer between 9th to 20th century. This however wasn't a problem for the national identity of people living there. In 1918 Austrian-Hungarian empire collapsed and Zakarpattia became part of Western Ukrainian People's Republic in 1919. Ten days later Western Ukrainian People's Republic joined Ukrainian People's Republic, thus for the first time in a very long time Zakarpattia became joined with the rest of Ukraine's regions. In 1921 UPR was dismembered by soviet Russia.

No, agrar sector in UA is crumbling and has a 60percent manpower deficit, because harvest/tractor drivers were mobilized due to their tech skills. Ukrainian crops also gets fertilized by Ukrainians and such as Pete, even more, if you think that they end up somewhere in ukrainian soil no matter what.

Jake you are a gentleman and a scholar for your dedication and support for Ukraine and all of the courageous men and women who offer their lives in an effort to prevent the wave of Russian genocidal assaults from gaining any traction. My girlfriend and I live on a modest income and after more than a year living in her car we finally got a suitable place to live. We didn't complain about our living conditions as we know we are so much better off than the people of Ukraine! We finally managed to get into a pace after I spent six days in hospital from working myself sick and the night before I was discharged from the hospital I found a place and we agreed to pay the deposit and rent the next morning. We were so grateful for our good fortune, I believe the Ukrainian people will also succeed in time but it takes a lot of persistence and sacrifice and it's very hard. I don't have military training and my girlfriend and my son need me too much to risk losing my life and I'm almost fifty years old so not exactly in the physical condition one should be in when preparing for war but I must admit I would have had a very hard time resisting the urge to defend democracy if I lived in Europe. I'm glad I live in Canada but I'm ashamed that as a country we have not offered greater support. In closing I'm both my girlfriend and I are very grateful that you have your channel and really enjoy watching every one of your episodes and videos as we find it be it was up to date and accurate information regarding the war on Ukraine from an although biased fair point of view.

Here in Finland we use motorcycled and snowmobiles not to attack but to fast short range deliveries. Company of bikes make so loud noise they basicly say "we are here and unprotected"

Thanks Jake - I watch all of your videos, and have been with you all since the start. I watch Starsky, and Denys, and Vlad, and Anna, and Artur, and several more - I am with you every day. I wish I could donate more, but I did (finally) make my first donation today to Ukraine's cause, to Pete's project. It is never enough, but it is something - it doesn't stop the tears, but it will help a little. I live in Canada - if I lived in the US, I would vote for Biden, to stop Trump. I can't help you there either. I believe that good will overcome evil. The civil war proved it - but the civil war happened, so it can happen again.
