I love color grading. It's amazing how much of a difference it makes. Though I will say, I much prefer doing it in Resolve than Premiere.

This is great! I struggle SO MUCH with color grading because I'm colorblind and I heavily rely on LUTS (and fate) to do magic for my videos. (Same goes with my Instagram photos, too lol.) It's a constant struggle, really. But I love your videos Jake. Can't wait for you to hit that 100k! Good luck, man! :)

Never knew about the luma vs sat before! Just bought your LUTs and I have a quick question, if you bake in the contrast and saturation in the lut itself do you add it in the basic colour correction stage or not?

Awesome thanks! I hope you like them! For your question: no, I do not add contrast or saturation in the basic correction stage at all (when filming in C-log). Typically I just make sure the exposure and white balance are good, then I slap the LUT on. However, If the footage is from a phone or anything without a log profile, I decrease the contrast (about -50ish) and saturation (-10ish) a bit before adding the LUT.
