I am so glad I found your videos (and subscribed). Currently in recovery from a brain haemorrhage and although I cannot take on my DIY projects like I did before, I am focussed on organising my tools and putting together an awesome PACKOUT system. I know they are quite expensive, but I can do it gradually. Any tips on where to start or how to get a jump-start with a sale or bargain kit would be super helpful. Thanks for your energy and enthusiasm, I really appreciate it.

I know it’s been asked here several times. But I’m new to packing, Kaizen and new to using a router. Just for a compact router as part of a bundle and I bought a bunch of inserts for my two sets of drawers and the cut kit. I was gonna do it by hand but now I’m debating using the router. What bit are using? Fluted downward spiral 1/4”? And if you’re not super familiar with using a router is it difficult? Looked straight forward from how you did it. Thanks.

Hi great video, never impressed with the finish when hand cutting foam so love the router idea - I heard that it was a downward spiral cutting bit but could you confirm the length and diameter. Are the other tools you used available in the UK?

My method is to cut the finger holes before I cut out the outline. In my experience, the Kaizen Source Holester tends to drift toward the opening if you cut the outline first and remove the waste foam.

I dig the Ohio plate! I’m a transplant from Ohio down here to Charlotte county. As for the drawers I’d like to see something with like sockets, c clamps maybe even caliper hangers. I’m saving/ planning to make myself a mini rolling mechanic box for when I’m working on my mail Jeep! I just started getting into the Milwaukee stuff. I dig it and your vids 🤟🏼

I just bought a two drawer and a tool box for my most used M12 tools. Top drawer has the new Hammer drill and impact driver along with the fuel multi tool, three 5.0 batteries and two 2.5 batteries. Second drawer has the fuel hackzall, angle grinder and stubby 3/8 impact with two 6.0 batteries and two 2.5 batteries. It took a bit to arrange everything and cut the Kiazen foam but well worth it. All the accessories, bit cases, sanding pads and papers, Sawzall blades, drill bits, sanding and cutting dics, etc. I did not put all the accessories in foam. I am very happy with how it turned out. Much better than in bags and boxes. I plan on doing the same for my M18 tools but just putting them into tool boxes with Kiazen foam. FYI If anyone is interested in the fuel 2 speed screwdriver Home Depot has it on a special buy for 129, the kit with screwdriver two 2.0 batteries, charger and bag. This is the biggest one, 325 inch lbs. You never see it go on sale, only the smaller one for 79.00. The cheapest i have found the tool only is 129 so it is a pretty good deal. Although most of us probably do not need any more 2.0 or another charger but hey, i will take them.
