@@user-jm9xe1sd2w there’s nothing to celebrate about when the Pacers have faced injury riddled teams and still are barely winning. Whether it’s the Pacers or Knicks advancing, they aren’t winning against Boston. Pacers because they aren’t good, the Knicks because they’re injured (fully healthy would give Boston a run for their money) That’s the reality. Wake up.

No what’s sad is whoever wants this game more gets the honor of getting embarrassed by Boston

@@Kegotback The guys that you have seen play. Alec can play. Deuce can play, Precious can play. The Knicks started the postseason with 10-11 legitimate rotation players. Going with 7 players and basically playing JB, OG, and Hart the whole game when Alec and Precious were available to play was, well, only Thibs would do that. If Thibs went with 8-9 guys, like literally every other coach in the league would do, OG and Hart are probably still healthy and Brunson's foot probably isn't hurting. Mitch would probably still be out there too. Even Randle's injury is a result of the Thibs culture. Randle was injured trying to pad his stats at the end of a blowout. Thibs plays guys a bunch of minutes...so they get their numbers/contract...so they are inspired to play hard. It works, but Thibs/Randle are never winning a title. I don't think Thibs is a bad coach though. He's just not coaching to win a title. He's coaching to keep a job. Thibs doesn't care if the Knicks win a title. Rose neither. They just want to keep those Dolan dollars flowing to the CAA family. Winning is of course part of it, but what they don't particularly want is championship expectations. Look at coach Bud for the Bucks. One of the best coaches in the league booted from his job because of championship expectations. Randle is a good player, but using him like he's a superstar? Starting Mitch over Hartenstein at center? Mitch is the worst offensive player in the league. Low actual and basketball IQ. Randle is a 3rd option at best but under Thibs he has a higher usage rate than Jokic. But those are Thibs' guys. Loyalty to the family over everything. It works. Thibs makes millions per year and is going to get an extension for significantly more money.

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and if minutes were spread out amongst our full roster maybe things would be different. However, right now is all that matters is who we have. I'm a Knicks fan but I don't see it. Pacers finally figured out the way to beat the Knicks is to attack down low where they have no size to defend a post up game. And just foul the Knicks because they can't make FT's.

Imagine having a really bad day at work and then having to sit in front of reporters and answer a bunch of redundant questions about it.
