On my recent trip to Osaka a few months ago for the creators event with my friends, we had the sudden urge to eat Jamaican food. We found a spot called “Corner Shop Jerk” @perverseiq . This place was slamming! The food was amazing but most of all was the owner/ chief IQ. He was super funny and spoke Jamaican Patois. We had a quick interview with him and had one of the hardest laughs in Osaka. #jamaica #jamaicanaccent #learnenglish #osakapeople #osakaaccent #english

@@Gandhi_Physique Same about music. I only listen to a little bit of rap and I hate the vulgar songs. I would lie if I said I don't have at least a couple of vulgar rap songs in my playlists but since English isn't my first language and rap is hard to understand, I just focus on the music and ignore the lyrics. Also, I discovered years later that many songs (non rap) that I used to listen to/still listen to are actually quite vulgar even if sometimes that's just through metaphors but still that's always very surprising. 😅 I guess escaping vulgarity in songs is a bit complicated, a bit like ex scenes in movies.
