I was taught it was a tiger: “Ennie, meenie, minnie, moe, catch a tiger by its toe. If he hollers, let him go. Out goes Y-O-U.” And who it lands on is out. Some versions add an extra verse before the second to last one, but I can never remember the whole thing (something about “my mother told me…..” and I can’t remember the rest of it) and we always kept it shorter.

Interesting about that song. In my day of primary school (like 06' and up, im 22) we'd sing "Cry cry baby Wadda, wadda dumpling Tek af ya shoes And go tel ya madda something Wahhhhhhh" Its basically uses to mock another peer for being overly sensitive. (Im from thr BVI btw)
