Ash’s accent and the way she touches on every syllable, and her word comes out perfectly amazing. Ash would be a great English professor at any college worldwide. She makes speaking English correctly so much fun. Evan speaks American English, and Ash’s English is very British without a British accent.

It partly depends on which part of Uganda one comes from. Also, which kind of school they went to and how much emphasis the teacher(s) put on pronunciation of English words.

@@booty3545 i don't know about you but I went through the Ugandan education system and was taught by both kinds of teachers. I had teachers who wanted us to pronounce words the British way (like kidney) and those who never cared when the pupils pronounced them with a touch of their mother tongue (like key-dee-knee). There are Ugandans who endeavour to speak English without the slightest touch of their mother tongue - think of Timothy Kalyegira, the late Bbaale Francis, pupils from international schools - and there are those who simply don't care how their English sounds. The average Ugandan is mostly from The latter category.

Actually Ash doesn't have only a western Uganda accent but rather for all Bantus in Uganda from East, West and Central.... Its us Bantus who speak words exactly without skipping aword and also mix local and English together, unlike Northerners and Tesos who pronounce words like British

Ash is from Uganda but even in Uganda one can tell the over 8 different *major* tribes by their different English accents. Africa on a whole may then have over 400 differing English accents derived from as many key tribes.. I love the love in this lovely international TEAM..
