I met Tom (without knowing who he was) at MSG back in 2003. I made a comment about a player in the lobby before we went to our seats and this tall guy chimed in. A guy near us said "that guy who just spoke to you can send you to Duke or down to Hofstra with the stroke of a pen." I never forgot that!

Omg Shareef Abdur-Rahim was my favorite player to watch growing up! Man he’s a guy that never gets talked about, but he was amazing. He could play the 4 or the 3, and at 6’9 he was doing a lot of what these forwards are doing now. He was one of the first guys that size that could score from anywhere on the court, but I loved watching him in the post. I would love to see you guys bring him on the show! Please get Shareef that be amazing. He deserves more credit and recognition than he gets for sure. He’s a legend to me.

Wow I’ve seen 30+ of the knuckleheads interviews & this is my favorite so far… for him to have enough sense to think about life outside of basketball & to think of the bigger pitcher to go to Kentucky for playing time to staying another year to play the dream team to shoot his draft stock up it’s not surprising to see him succeed outside of basketball

Ayo Mash waa the best guest y'all had on here! His story telling is A1. He's a smart dude. I feel like I never heard him talk during his career. I watched him as a kid, mostly on his run with the Heat. Good stuff.

Love the players from the 90s as a guy born in 85 by 92 I knew every player in the league. Some of the underrated guys such a Mashburn, LJ, Sreewell, Rasheed, Stack, Nick Van Exel, Isiah JR Rider, Damon Stoudamire, Michael Finley, Marcus Camby, Kenny Anderson, Rod Strickland, Dennis Scott (3D), Ron Mercer if healthy was one of the best scorers I ever saw his rookie year averaged like 15 a game which isn't easy in a defensive minded league at that time, Maurice Taylor one of my favorite players coming out of college, Derek Anderson when healthy unbelievable player. Tim Thomas was another unbelievable scorer. End of the 90s mike bibby,, Larry Hughes, Bonzi Wells, Ricky Davis, Rashard Lewis one of the first 6'10 guys to be able to stretch the floor and shoot 3s. I'm sure I'm leaving some underrated players out but all these guys I feel don't get there praise when it comes to how great they were either when healthy or just didn't have the years to get there due praise.

Jamal Mashburn was not heralded by the media, but all the NBA players respect him as an elite player. Jamal used to be an analyst on NBA TV, not sure why he isn't anymore. He was good, and definitely should get another role somewhere.
