He is Speaking Truth If you are not structuring a policy to benefit a person while they are alive you don’t love your clients nor do you care about the value you leave them with when they sign up

Everyone should purchase a Whole Life Policy because it accumulates a cash value over time. Term life benefits the insurance company, because it ends after the term ends and most likely will not pay the insured ; whole life benefits the insured and the cash value it accrues over time can be accessible to the insured individual. The younger or earlier you buy Whole life insurance it’s less expensive; and always buy a policy that has a living benefit not only a death benefit.

What? Executives would go to jail if you don't pay out a term life policy. That is designed to protect your family. This whole life stuff is very risky

I agree everyone should have Whole Life, but most struggle to understand insurability as an asset class. The important thing is to view your overall insurability is an asset class that provides you the flexibility to lock in the amount of insurance you need. For many they can't afford to be fully insured up to their Human Life Value through Whole life initially. As you income increases it definitely make sense to structure the policy correctly to benefit you throughout your entire life. I personally believe people should have both at all times and Have the whole for cash value but the Convertible term for locking in future insurability and having the riders that can help when bad situations arise.

@@kissingerrai4844 I understood her comment but I will say that being in the business of the insurance business the primary goal above all is to be insured to the full extent. Rather young or old that is difficult to do with one policy. For two reasons although the younger you are the cheaper the insurance the cost will still be more per unit of insurance which means a client may have to $200 for half a million whole vs $76 term. If client is younger the concept of value vs cost is hard for them to understand which is why we do educational podcast like this in the first place. In addition they may not be in a place in their life early on where they have mastered budgets to make the smarter decision. People often think based on their circumstances so it's no one size fits all for guidance but there is a need to sit down with the client and find out what their mindset about insurance is. If they haven't mastered understanding the value of Whole Life their family still deserves to be insured until they do understand that value and don't just see the cost. Unfortunately this is category that maybe 90% of people fit into because of the popularity of the buy term and invest the difference concept.

The first few years of a whole life policy you don’t accumulate money, the interest is low and you get charged to borrow your own money. This does not benefit me.

It’s been a long time but back when I was an agent people with conditions like you’re explaining, would have a hard time getting insurance privately and would have to go through the government insurance pool. You can Google that and see what you can find in your state.
