Every Christmas my three sons (35,22,19)get legos and they build them all day, it’s a Christmas tradition. My daughter and I get books to read!❤️

Same here! My mother in law thought i was a nut for having a basket of 'garden' clothes for each of the kids. Everytime she'd babysit, she would let them paint, roll in mud, etc in their good clothes instead of changing them and it drove me nuts. One day she asked me to dress the kids nicely for a visit to her sisters house, whilst there she let my son go in the pool in his brand new trainers because he wanted to, he was 5! They stunk afterwards especially as she left them outside in the rain overnight instead of attempting to dry them. We appreciated her having the children but it really annoyed me and dh was livid, so much so he asked her for a replacement pair! Needless to say she used the play clothes after that 😂

My husband is 36 and sometimes he buys "the kids" lego sets but really it's for him. He will also lay in the floor and build all the lego sets and play for hours with the kids.

I’m in Virginia too! My favorite meme going around says “ I don’t often experience all 4 seasons in one day, but when I do it’s in Virginia” Winter in the early AM, spring late morning, almost summer in the afternoon into evening, Fall around dinner time 😆

I've got 4 grown boys and 3 daughters in law that I still buy Christmas for as well as 3 grands and my 12 year old caboose, my only daughter and the only one still at home. I think most of my friends roll their eyes that we still still to a big Christmas for the adults. I dont care I love Christmas and I truly love giving gifts. As long as im able it will always be this way. So glad to see your grown kids Christmas piles. 😍😍

When we go to Toys R Us here in Canada my husband is like a child on Christmas every time despite being 32. I have two boys with a third boy on the way (28 weeks right now) but truly I feel like I am surrounded by three children XD God bless his heart. To be honest it makes my heart full when I see my husband as child-like as them cause the boys love playing with Daddy.

I have no children as I was never able to have them. I’m in Georgia and I have over 300 fur babies as I have a farm and I stay super busy with all of my animals. You can order clothing from Costco.com ! They usually offer more colors/sizes there and can return at your local store if need be.

I checked for jackets because I was trying to sit here and order those on my phone instead of having to go all around the store, LOL. They were very limited on their jacket options for local pick up at my Costco here. And even for delivery for some reason. I don’t know, I just went to their site to shop and they didn’t have too many choices for me unfortunately.

i found 2 huge buckets with wheels for sale at a neighbors house. They wanted $20 total. When I looked inside they were full of lego airplanes, ships, etc. These will be for my 36 year old son when he comes back from deployment! What a find!!! His wife may not be thrilled but he has always loved legos. So happy to see they are still popular. Looking good Jamerrill as usual!!!🧡💛💚💙

My oldest lives in Lynchburg Virginia. I totally understand about the little boy growing spurt thing. The youngest boy of ours is in the men’s section already and he’s only 13.

I buy those same brand coats for my kids too and they always look so big in the store. Then when you get home, the kids put them on and suddenly they shrink. LOL! Idk what happens. #momlife

Just wanted to let you know you've inspired me to get back into food prep. I usually can up a large batch of chili. This past year has been crazy, but I have been slowly stocking up on jars. I got baggie holders and aluminum take out containers are on the way to do some freezer meals. Second freezer for meat only coming in January! We're not a large family, but prepping is frugal and home food is the best grab and go. I binge watch other preppers to get in the prepping mood. Lol Thanks!

My 3 1/2 year old (mine is a mid April baby) is also wearing 5T. Tall boys! He looks like an older kid, but he's still my baby who wants to cuddle, even if mommy can't carry him anymore.
