You should watch the 2014 James Brown Biography Movie, "Get On Up" starring the late Chadwick Boseman. He did an amazing job of portraying James Brown, and chronicling James' life and career. I had to keep reminding myself he wasn't the real James Brown. You are missing out not watching this movie.

James Brown was a friend of Elvis's. They had a mutual admiration and a friendly rivalry. James went to Presley's funeral and spent at least an hour with him in state before the service.

I love James Brown. This is a great song, but my favorite song by him is 'Try Me' maybe partly because it was the first James Brown song I ever heard back when I was 10 years old back in 1958!
