I was 8years old when I found the LONG VERSION LP "SUPER BAD" in my dad´s house in Milan ... as soon as my family left and I was alone I grabbed the LP (which I´ve had of course hidden away :: my absolute trasure) put it on a 70s BRAUN music machine and freaked out dancing like crazy sweating like hell crying out:: I´m SUPA BAD ! -- since that day JAMES BROWN is MY PERSONAL JESUS - my GOD of FUNK !

Music like this simply will never exist again in the mainstream. Live, loud, pure happiness, and celebration. All acoustic, everydone dancing and skilled musicians on brass and wind instruments. What a time to be alive. I'd much rather see this then watch a guy stand in one spot behind a DJ booth.

"Soul" means more than just the musical genre. James had a soul. Enjoying life and living to the fullest. Yes, he was somewhat of a pawn of the music industry (all performers are) but his devotion and "soul" was always obvious in his performances. He and Jagger are embodiments of "soul", not just in a music sense.
