Hollyweird never learns, they act like untouchable gods now, completely out of touch with reality, even after fucking up their franchises in order to pander to the zionist narrative/agenda. 3 Terminator fuck ups in a row, the franchise needs Cameron in the director's chair after 3 different directors have given us sub-par sequels but he is so arrogant he wants to do crap no one is really interested in instead of at least give us another awesome Terminator movie with all his detail.

Somehow, hearing Cameron say is a new trilogy and that Linda Cameron will return to teach everyone how it's done...I suspect John Connor will be successfully killed and it will be up to Sarah Connor (and a young female semi lead, maybe John's daughter) to lead humanity against the robots. Even if it is a forced feminist propaganda stuff it sounds like a great twist to the story-line...but at the same time it will invalidate the first 2 movies.

T2 soundtrack is the ONLY soundtrack in the world that lives with you after you go home. really what else is there that matches the sheer Awesomeness of T2 score. The themes for each character and for each sequence is done so nicely that I am getting goosebumps remembering when the first time I saw T2.

It's sad. I watched this discussion, probably about ten times in the two year lead-up to what became Terminator: Dark Fate. So much of what these guys said excited me - particularly Cameron's gusto about intelligently getting back into the weeds of the story of his creative first-born. There's enough exciting discussion and concept thrown around to give you the idea that they were building towards a truly worthy Terminator sequel. But they didn't care about Terminator. Not the Terminator we all know and love. Not the characters. Certainly not the mythology. You wouldn't know it by watching this, necessarily, but the only thing that gets Cameron excited about Terminator is the idea of A.I. That's it. He doesn't care about the stories he started decades ago - he considers them finished. He doesn't care about the iconography - he considers it tarnished. Really, this was only an opportunity to take the model of Terminator and try and tell a story about today's technology - that was the only thing he was in it for. First Dark Fate failed the mythology and characters, then it failed us, the audience. It should come as no surprise that people who love the Terminator movies, expect the filmmakers making a sequel, to love them too, and to honor it. Again, sad to watch this video. If you knew nothing else about Dark Fate, you would think they were making an honorable follow-up. They blew it.

@.skyNet Thing is, while the story and the Terminators were "dark and bleak and grim", that provided a wonderful backdrop for the humanity and hopes of the trying-to-survive human characters to shine against. @Jean-Philippe Leblanc-Paré sounds interesting. Its unfortunate they , in this new movie, have replaced John with the new young female who will apparently save the future, it basically shits on the whole premise of the franchise for a feminist agenda. Its a movie we have seen 4 times. Bad terminator goes to the past to terminate future resistance, save the young one from the future that young one will save. Its so surprising they didnt come up with a better idea.

1. Pandering to feminists with "a new female lead" will make it PG-13. 2. Already said he is not directing due to probably Hamilton being demanded to star by a jewish executive. Cameron hates his ex-wife. 3. Biehn's character will almost certainly be in it but it has to be a young man. Furlong is in Lara Flynn Boyle shape and soul level of un-cooperation, Patrick...the same as with Biehn's character.
@Jucelegario

4. Jewish execs are giving Cameron's team less than 2 years to complete the project, they will rely heavily on CGI because thats trending among Hollyweirders in order to reduce shooting time. It doesn't matter what they say, reality says otherwise. 5. Already explained in 4. 6. It will have a catchy and fancy name. Won't give it a number because of the planned multi sequels, they think T7 in a few years will sound ridiculous. 7. It will be a good but forgettable flick. Miller isn't a bad director, but he overuses digital color filters (trending in Hollywood too right now) which cheapens movies. Also, the added feminist pandering will give you a 1.70m chick (the new female lead) kicking a 2 meters size terminator actor ass, which will make it unrealistic and will make the movie SUCK.

I mean ... any time we would drift off message what the movies were Jim was right there to bring us back." 26:36 Cameron: "I think it was a really good room. ... it was best time ever had in a writing room. ... I just want to give Davit shout out he was right there." 26:47 Cameron: "We had four top screen writers. Tim myself and David and we were brainstorming for months ... (ideas back and forth) ... I think we're got best of the best and we're gonna make tree really f# great movies." 45:41 Tim: "All I'm focused on is make is this movie and making it great." 45:44 Cameron: "Make a greate movie don't f*up." I don't get it, from what Cameron says they worked months on story. And yet the movie is mainly weak on story part. For me T2 is perfect the best action movie ever made. And why ... all actors in T2 are Great and equally Great is music, story, script, costumes, and O my God visuals and CG effects (almost 30 years old CG holds up), T2 is on level of quality you forget that you are watching a movie and you get impresion of reality. Doesn't really change what I said in any case, a rating is not what makes a film good, T2 isn't good cos its got lots of violence, its good cos it took the story to a second level which was the relationship between the robot and a boy, whereas the first was just about the robot trying to kill them and Kyle's PTSD. The major piece that made the first two movies unique... the thing that the previous three movies were missing...and from seeing the new trailer, this movie will be lacking as well, is the ambiance. That feeling of dread that permeated T1 and T2. The industrial soundtrack, the dark lighting and the overall notion of doom that filled the scenes between the action. They were missing the aspect of "tech-noir" that made the franchise what is was. Hopefully this new movie will heavily incorporate it, but from what I'm seeing so far, we have just another ho-hum scifi action thriller on our hands.

I always thought it would be convenient to just let them find some splashes of liquid metal as it was blown all over the place in the final scene :-) I mean, what can you telll from a crushed piece of hydraulic metal? ...Maybe nothing much - but instead, what possibilities do you have with a radically advanced technology that has all the information in every single tiny piece of it? This would also have to be the opening scene for Cameron's T3. Revisiting the factory in that moment right after the finale, cyberdyne executives finding evidence and stuff. Then jumping forward to present time.

Everybody has an opinion about what gives the Terminator it's weight, I'm not expecting any higher consideration, but here goes. Terminator works when it's an R-rated monster movie. When you trivialize the threat a Terminator coming at you presents - the characters just happen to stumble across a working Barrett 50 Cal loaded with tungsten core rounds - or you Tween it down to a PG-13 and consequences of getting cornered by an unarmed Terminator is to get thrown through flimsy sheetrock and left dazed, it's reduced to b-grade sci-fi (which strangely enough doesn't use the Terminator archetype at all, one would think one of the humanoid Cylons of Battlestar Galactica would be an unstoppable golem). The minigun scene of Terminator 2 really helped sell the idea that just *one* T-800 is capable of bringing a metropolitan city to a standstill, and there really isn't a huge difference in firepower between a 90's SWAT team and today's, or the type of ordinance they'd bring to a first encounter. When the Terminator has weight, *then* the all-seeing SkyNet and the idea of blanketing the globe with robots after a world-wide nuclear strike becomes something you'd be desperate to stop. When you're one of two or three people aware of a problem beyond the grasp of billions of Instagram / CNN / Netflix junkies and everyone you try to alert compounds the obstacles you face, then you have characters who have to actually struggle to save the world.

Let's be clear; kids sneak into R-rated movies, get an older sibling or parent to buy them a ticket. Kids can watch R-rated, and when they get to, they feel like they're doing something even more exciting. And only the cool kids will have seen the movie and get to talk about it. Also, the movie will eventually make more money when the kids who couldn't watch it, finally do get to watch it. Anyway... making something PG-13 just alienates adults more than kids. Then you have whole families and annoying kids in the theater that can't handle it.

This was an absolutely fantastic interview and my level of optimism for the movie has increased massively. Tim Miller to me really gets what made T1 and T2 so special and I can't wait to see what they do with the movie. However, there are a few steps which they need to take in order for the first film to be successful so they can get the other 2 movies greenlit. First, the title. I don't want this to be called Terminator: (insert next word here). In order to get people to people to the theatre, they really should call this movie James Cameron's Terminator 3: (again insert word here). Even though Cameron isn't director, his name at the front will get a lot of people into the theatre, especially if his Avatar sequel smashes the box office once again. Secondly, make the movie in a similar vein to how the first one was made, a limited budget, a tight script, well written characters, a terrifying nemesis and for god's sake make it god damn rated R. Any true Terminator fan will tell you that these movies can not be softened down for general audiences. All these things combined I think will make the new movie a success and then they can double down on the next 2 movies like Cameron did with T2.

watching Prometheus was amazing. i was dumbfounded by the entire plot and all the while, little clues were strewn throughout the entire movie telling the audience what they're watching. as soon as the movie ended and i realised what it was, i was impressed and it made me so happy to have no clue it was practically cannon until it was too late. the best movie without a twist had the best reveal. covenant was alright too. if anything, more movies which are cannon but involve entirely new plot lines, shouldn't ever hold the title of the series. Prometheus, is a movie before the story of Alien. no mention in the title, no give away in the trailer as far as i remember. over my years of watching movies, i've grown tired of "[insert name and number in series] : [insert catchy subtitle]" method of movie names. sure it keeps movies in check and order, but who really cares? if the movie stands on it's own, and doesn't rely on previous information so heavily, it should just have a stand alone title. Prometheus is a prime example of this for me. i suppose Rogue One kinda does the same too. it's in the universe of Star Wars cannon but it's not actually Star Wars, it's "A Star Wars Story" and the coming spin offs will have the same sub title because they're not relevant to the main plot, barring characters names and locations. i haven't seen Rogue One but i fully endorse the stand alone title. just sayin'.

Main character of Avatar was so boring, villian was beyond cliche, and story was cliche crap. He said young woman. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH A WOMAN STAR, but these movies need to stop forcing the woman is the star issue. Just make the movie and make it work. These movies keep coming out and the woman in the main role keeps pulling, "I'm a woman and you can't stop me." or "You're holding me back because I'm a woman." LET HER ACTIONS PROOVE EVERTYHING. Linda Hamilton and Sigourney Weaver have always been amazing and NEVER had to force anything about being a woman. Their actions proved everything and they have great movies.

You’re assuming they’re making a female the main lead just because feminism. Grow up and stop being a pussy about everything. Roles can change. They could literally change the race, the age range, etc, and it would not matter, besides it just being a major change for reboot purposes. Having a female lead and making it obvious that it’s a forced feminist message is one thing. Having a female lead at all and calling it feminist and bitching about it is another. Stop making comments like these. You look just as bad, if not stupider than the feminists you’re making fun of.

King Herb I agree. I left the theatre yesterday and I thought the movie was ok but something hit me when I went home. I realized that this movie was no different than Genisys and the movies that came before it. They completely rehashed of what happened in the first two films without it really even being canon. They took the one hope for humanity and one of the most beloved characters in the Terminator franchise and Dark Fate was a complete FU to all of us. The only difference is that the main protagonist is now a female. I honestly believe this film was simply just a cash grab to attract the PC culture that we live in today and it’s sad. All most of us ever wanted was for John Conner to actually be in a future war. Is it really that hard? Seriously screw this movie.

@@terryprice1691 i hated the kid and most of people i know hated JC as a character..stupid shitty kid... but i respected the character that thats what he would have become maybe..living without mom thats in the institute and so on. We had the war in the future movie.. its the Salvation.. they wanted to create and bridge that is logical after 2 and the 3rd so maybe the 4th would be more about the resistance and war as they wanted to set up. I want Terminator movie that is in the war with Terminators in the battlefield allso but its in the Salvation one. They had to do a start to that part a bit.

How many have been in similar situations and after getting a break, they turned their life around? Robert Downey Junior, for example. Furlong hasn't done anything irreversable or truly despicable and definitely deserves a chance. You wanna talk about assholes? How about Mark "Scumbag" Wahlberg. He blinded a man's eye in a racially charged attack. Matthew Broderick killed a woman and her daughter because he was too much of a moron to drive the correct lane. Both of these dickwads got a slap on the wrist. What has Furlong done? Booze, drugs and some scuffles with spouses. Very common of child stars. I don't see why he shouldn't be given a chance to turn his life around.
@stitcha123
@stitcha123 6 жыл бұрын
Aivottaja he has. Mark wahlberg and Robert dj have wanted to turn their lives around there in lies a huge difference. A second and crucial point was Edward furlong never achieved anything in the acting world. He was decent in T2 and very good in American history X... that’s it. Then he got into drugs and got fat.
@Aivottaja
@Aivottaja 6 жыл бұрын
Wahlberg and RDJ would have never gotten that chance if it wasn't allowed to them. What makes you think Furlong doesn't want to turn his life around just as much? Notice how RDJ, for example, gives Mel Gibson his gratitude for giving him a helping hand when he was "hugging the cactus"? Or Mickey Rourke thanking Stallone for hiring him when his career was down? You don't get a second chance unless someone meets you halfway there. Never achieved anything? I'd say the few good movies he's made count for achieving something. He's proven he has talent. He's also been in a pit for years. I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be given a chance to prove himself again if he accepts the opportunity.

Ah, the sense of hopefulness and the promise of redemption for the franchise I felt while watching this THR video when it came out. How could I not have? It has Cameron's official blessing, Hamilton reprising her role, the _Deadpool_ director at the helm, and all that talk about pretending that every installment after T2 was a bad dream. I was like _YES! Finally!_ Then... the trailer came out. :-\
