James doesn’t want spontaneous friends, he wants a group of people beneath him that will do ANYTHING he wants ANYTIME he wants

So when people have their sh*t together and have FULL TIME jobs and have priorities… spontaneous isn’t a thing. All of my friends, including me, have full time job and responsibilities. We aren’t lucky enough to have all of the free time he has.

i don’t understand how james can even be mad. Like? you went out to a party. you put yourself at risk. Covid atm is just a reality of life. If you aren’t cutting down your risk factors by avoiding large events and wearing a mask, it’s gonna happen.

There's a reason why you don't see regular celebrities acting like James on social media - because it's cringy at best and predatory at worst. Could you imagine someone like Chris Evans or Anne Hathaway going on Instagram/Tik Tok/whatever and asking people to come be their friends? That would be absurd. But James wants to have it both ways - he wants the status of a real celebrity when it's beneficial and gets him invited to the Met Gala, but then he wants to pretend to be a normal guy in his 20's just looking for companionship when he goes on social media.

James is just so… immature. Like he’s what over 21. But acts like he’s 17. It’s so strange. He constantly is seeking attention and friendship. He clearly is not okay just being alone with himself and it is kind of sad.

Jesus christ James needs to get a real job like the rest of us and see how "spontaneous" he would be. Okay, I may be the minority here (& I'm not at all fond of JC) but I think his search for new friends was rhetorical. I know it's alarming because of his (alleged) DM scandals in the past, but I think he was more so venting about how he wishes he had someone he could do things on a whim with but it's hard for him because of his status. I have a mix of friends...some prefer to plan ahead, some rarely have time to do anything and some I can meet up with on a whim and I love them all equally. I also think the popular Cali world of influencers is a very different vibe from other areas b/c I see influencers in the south doing casual/random things all the time together.

There are plenty of influencers and celebs who have "normal" friends and whatnot. Its just about what you expect from them....like James you have plenty of money and funds to do basically whatever you want. Those "normal" people you want as friends might not be able to do stuff like that or even be comfortable doing over the top hobbies and activities like most influencers tend to do. And also those "normal" people look at you the same as others so the questionable persona and track record you have will most likely deter people from trusting you as a friend to even begin with. It's actually a bummer that he's so far gone from living a "normal" life... Maybe he's just going to have to learn to be his own bestie. Or at least establish a more laid back friend group of people who aren't so busy all the time.
