They led the Adventist church through its early foundations, expansion and growth but during this time they were husband and wife, parents, mother and father to four boys. Their marriage experienced more hard ship than many others but through it all they persevered and prospered and there are many lessons that we can learn from them. Thank you for keeping our Adventist history alive! It gives us purpose and determination when we see how God has lead in the establishment of our church. “We have nothing to fear for the future except we forget the Lord and His leading in our past history.”

From the start of marriage they had a fellow from England who graduated from Eton College,who owned that printing press become a boarder in their household,so that they had access to printing.They had their mind on business from the beginning
