Feel really bad for Westbrook. He finally found his fitting with a team. Everyone knocks his efficiency but remember this moment. Before the Harden trade he is shooting 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from 3 and the team is 2-1. If this fucks up the spacing/Westbrook's role, he's going to get blamed too.

I think its a huge L for Harden in the long run. His reputation in the NBA took a huge hit, after this season I dont see any team offering him significant money or a long-term deal. Maybe the Clippers out of desperation but that would be ridiculously stupid.

It doesn't really matter because he found someone desperate enough to offer him a big deal next year. The Clippers basically made it clear with this trade they are keeping this core group and resigning everyone (Kawhi, PG, Harden, Westbrook) next summer. Otherwise they have no team, and no picks either. They have to keep all of them and they have the leverage. He had one big contract left and once his value went down in the summer this was the only way he got another big deal. The NBA was done with him already@@philiplee1769

James harden is No ANGEL. but in fairness Houston was rebuilding the team in his prime, so he wanted out. And then in Brooklyn, Kyrie and his off court stuff is just a nightmare as a team mate, ie cleveland, and boston. HIS BEST OPTION FOR A CHIP was to stay in Philly with Embiid, but once that rift was created between him and Morey, that was no longer an option. Too bad people will only remember that HE WANTED OUT.

Clippers shouldn’t have any problem coming out of the West as long as they avoid injury. Phoenix is probably their only threat and they don’t have enough depth. Denver and GS don’t have enough talent to keep up.
