A silver tongue of course requires a silver mind. Earth=raw materials= impressions=prima materia. Moving from merely reflecting back (reactive), to reflecting on (responsive). Water=reflecting on the impression establishes the inner witness. Air=observing oneself witnessing the impression establishes the Observer. This is called Self - Observation. This practice switches off subvocalization and internal dialogue so, taking no thought, Fire= we rise to being aware of being aware. This is where we give birth to the child of promise, our inherent Wholeness wherein perceiver, perceiving and perceived are One. We can then receive the gifts of the Spirit of Wholeness: inspiration for the heart, insight for the mind, well - being for the body and empowerment for the will. This is called Self - Remembering. Being aware of being aware that I am then brings us to Akasha=space,aether. Space is all - inclusive. That I am is prior to what I am and who I am and is that from which they arise and to which they return. This is the state of conscious nothingness, the Creative potency of Infinity wherein all things are possible. Behold I make all things new again. Every impression can be employed as a metaphor of our current state of being and what we need to learn to take the next step in our spiritual development to actualize our potential to experience the completion of joy in form, which is fulfillment, transcending any apparent limits by employing them as creative guidelines. Whether the glass is half empty or half full is a matter of interpretation. One gives us something to move away from, the other giving us something to move toward. Either can motivate us. Both are meta - programs, ways of sorting our perceptions, filters.
