@@razadaza9651 Meat is classified as a carcinogen, meaning it 100% causes cancer and is backed by the science. Meat also has loads of saturated fat and cholesterol, which raise LDL-Cholesterol, which directly leads to significant elevated risk of heart disease. It is 100% undeniable that meat is indeed bad for you. You don't get any external cholesterol from your diet when you're vegan. Also no (Long Chain) saturated fats (bad fats), which are the only fats that are linked to increase LDL. If you don't agree with the science then nobody can save you 🤷‍♂️ Chris Kresser was exposed as a fraud and liar. He manipulated Joe into thinking he was correct, when he completely misrepresented, and flat out lied about the film. He also cherry picked studies which anybody can do. I've watched this whole thing unfold. The movie, the spoof documentary, numerous podcasts. The thing I find interesting is the insane amount of confirmation bias by Both Sides. It’s a fact that plant based isn’t the only or even superior to any other diets. James might have been well prepared but everyone has an agenda and there are still so many other non vegans nutritionist that have big issues with the game changers documentary. It was clear it was a propaganda film. Veganism is not a movement, and that’s my honest opinion. I’m just tired of people forcing you to believe what they believe. I think both James and Kris are con artists in their own ways. James is not an expert neither is Kris And it’s not some conspiracy that involves making people eat meat. Just stay away from processed foods and sugars you’ll live longer it’s that simple.

Animal protein is in many respects better than vegetable protein in terms of biological value, net protein utilization, growth rate and digestibility (BV, NPU, PER). In addition, it contains more of some amino acids (methionine, leucine). Plants are a source of fiber and anti-nutritional substances that can further hinder the body's full use of such protein. A good source of protein is not only meat, but also offal, dairy products, and eggs. Red and processed meat is included in IARC categories 2A and 1, but this does not apply to white meat, fish and dairy products, as well as animal protein nutrients (whey protein and casein isolates). Meat is a good source of some branched chain amino acids (leucine) and creatine, in addition heme iron, which is involved in the synthesis of hemoglobin and myoglobin (iron deficiency causes a decrease in physical performance). On a vegan diet, it is more difficult to balance the need for iron, calcium, EPA and DHA, zinc, vitamin B12 and additional supplementation is always required. Despite the fact that vegetable protein (soy, wheat, pea) can give a beneficial effect in the form of an increase in lean body mass, on the other hand, it is often contaminated with unwanted additives, such as fiber or phytoestrogens (isolates should be chosen), and because of the worse indicators, obtaining the desired results may require more time, effort and be more difficult. The demand for protein depends on the type of sport. In strength sports it may exceed 2 g per kg bw / d, while in endurance and aerobic sports glycogen and carboloading stores play a big role. You cannot increase muscle mass from carbohydrates, because sugar is primarily an energy and reserve material, not a building material. The burning of proteins is an unfavorable process because it leads to increased production of poisonous nitrogen compounds, which must be neutralized, among others in the ornithine cycle and excreted in the urine (this causes an increase in the demand for, among others, B vitamins). Vegan diet may increase blood testosterone levels, however, simultaneously with SHBG protein, with unchanged amount of free testosterone. There are also reports that animal protein may have a beneficial effect on vascular endothelium. It can certainly be part of a healthy diet, including that used by athletes (dairy products, fish, offal, white meat).

I was surprised at how little prepared Chris was. I was more surprised at how very prepared James was on Chris kresser's work and how fiercely James attacked Chris. I don't see how either of them really won. James overstated his facts and over compensated Hard on Chris's mistakes to compensate how many questions and facts he was actually avoiding. And Chris clearly rounded numbers off on studies to give some of his arguments false leverage. I still stand by my first impression from the film which is BS. I think there is a lot more to diet than either of these two are arguing. No doubt an Organic vegan diet is beneficial over a standard north American diet, I don't think any one would argue about that. Now I want to see it compared to a healthy omnivorous diet including game meat, organic fruits vegetable, wild caught fish and Naturally raised beef chicken pork etc grass fed away from pesticides and hormones.

There are weenies, as we called them on the grade school playground, claiming in their response videos only that Wilkes is unhinged, because they cannot fault his debate pace or the reasoning he used in his rebuttals. They are sooky babies, who, when corrected by a greater authority, snivel and whine, and Kresser is on that spectrum; his body language as the debate progressed was something to see. What I hope comes from this is that he is _discredited to his patients_ and loses personal business.
