Dr. McDougall and other whole food plant based doctors saved my life and helped me loose 175lbs. I don't know why he took that covid jab. Months after he took it he started aging horribly. RIP dear John!

The "glass stomach" segment shows how much of various foods fit in one's stomach. But John doesn't present scientific evidence regarding for how the amount of food in one's stomach contributes to one feeling "full," and to stopping the task of putting in more. I tend to doubt that the amount of food in the stomach, by volume, is the only thing that contributes to satiety. As we know that some people keep eating even after their stomach is full, even after they "feel full," and some people don't seem to feel full even though their stomach is full. They eat more and their stomach stretches do that it can all fit in. Conceivably there are other things that contribute to feeling full. Perhaps the 2 foods with the same general type, and the same calorie density, same number of calories per volume, same number of calories per 100 grams - perhaps a difference in their chemical makeup may cause different amounts of satiety. I believe that to a small extent has scientific investigation of this phenomenon has been carried out. Like will rye bread make you feel full sooner than wheat bread should you eat the same amount by weigh, volume, or calorie?

Dr. McDougall, though I did not know him personally, saved my life. I was crippled in a wheelchair with arthritis at age 60. I was eating the Standard American Diet so of course I was fatter than I should be, I was 80 lbs. overweight. Yes I was obese, and a cripple in a wheelchair. Now I am 71, no wheelchair, weigh 120 lbs. and have no pain from arthritis, why? I found Dr. John McDougall. I am healthy now and people never think I look 71, but that is my biological age. When I was 60, I wore a size 20, and now I wear a size 4. As I am blonde and walk daily, I do visit my dermatologist twice a year. The first time I saw my new dermatologist, he was totally caught off guard. He had never seen me before, Calle in his whole staff to see a slim lady who is fit and does not look her age! Good for my ego. But my daily exercise is walking and yes I am blonde so I want to be sure my skin is OK! When I visit the doctor for my check ups, they find I have nothing wrong with me. I only take one med, Estrodiol, which helps with menopause symptoms. Meanwhile I eat twice as much as I did when I was 60 and obese. I don’t have dementia like my father, none of the diseases all of the rest of my nuclear family died of. The only thing I do not like about my diet, is that given my results, that more people would not like to do what I did. I think that the Standard American diet is addictive and has mind control with it. It is making them sick, and yet they don’t want to avoid the health consequences I dodged. People who have not seen me in a while do a double take. They aged, but I didn’t. Why would not want to live this way? I own my diet, my diet does not own me. I have freedom from addiction. And that makes me feel calm, that I made the right choice. My BMI is 20:8. I have big bones and have been told Z I am skinny. Not!

John had a great and rich life with a great family and friends, even if he as a young adult suffered some injuries. He was able to turn things around and prolonged his life a lot due to healthy foods. It’s not how many years you live, it’s the life quality and health during the years that you get that is the only thing that counts. Here John is a winner. Living another 10 or 20 years with poor health is not an option

If a certain food is larger and more filling than another, it's because it has more water in it. Water is not satiating. Filling your stomach with low calorie food will not override your body's desire for more calories. It can tell when what you're eating is not enough and you will get just get hungry a few hours later.

ALL LIES!!! What a joke!!! I BELIEVED THESE LIES BACK THEN and I got up to almost 300lbs eating Rice, Potatoes, Pasta, Breads & High Sugar Fruits (WHICH BY THE WAY THESE EXACT FOODS TURN INTO SUGAR ONCE YOU CONSUMED THEM!!!) as he recommends in this video!!! I now eat nothing but Meat, Eggs, Cheese, Salads and Low Carb Fruits, Vegetables & Nuts along with Low Carb Breads & Pasta and I lost 160lbs and got off ALL six (6) of my Medications eating this way!!! THEY WERE LYING TO US BACK IN THE 1960’s about our foods and THEY STILL ARE!!! The Fd&Drg Admin want you sick!!! ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, FOLKS, JUST THINK ABOUT THAT AND LET IT SINK IN!!!

I suffered from metabolic syndrome (obesity, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high blood sugar). I went whole food plant based no sugar oil or salt and I lost 65 pounds, all my conditions greatly improved, my gums stopped bleeding, and erections and energy returned. I used to have an appetite that was never satisfied; whole foods cured it. I no longer use a sleep apnea machine. Finally, the food is cheap-Beans, lentils, rice, potatoes and seasonal apples. Also, I save money by not having to buy pills or visit the Doctor. I am thankful to all the vegans who suffered attacks to reveal the truth to me.

I was looking for the late Dr's health history and cause of death. After seeing that he suffered a massive heart attack at age 18, he lived a lot longer than if he had eaten the S.A.D. I am on vacation and heading home tonight. I have been contemplating how to lose this 65 pounds that is destroying my spine. In honor of Mcdougall, I am going this route. In 6 months I will return and update my progress. I want to avoid extensive spine and hip surgery. Pray for me.❤

I’m sure Dr. John was a very good person trying to help mankind but I wonder how many people died because of this now outdated diet which just makes no sense when you dig down into the science. We are carnivore period. Sure carbohydrates will keep us alive but it’s not proper human food.
