Ohne Filter was a popular music program run by the German public TV station SWF from 1983 to 2001. The show featured international pop and rock artists, who would typically play a 45-minute set in front of a live audience in a TV studio.
This Ohne Filter James Taylor special was recorded on October 5, 1993 and first broadcast on August 11, 1994.

My family helped to settle North Carolina in the 1700’s. This song’s meaning , lyrics and James Taylor’s musicality bring tears to my eyes ❤!

He is playing it in the key and the tempo of the version that appears on his 1976 Greatest Hits album: E (guitarist talk: D capoed at 2nd position), and slowed down. He rarely does that anymore.

Maybe the full concert includes Millworkers, seeing as it was in his regular setlist at the time. It's back in his setlist recently too, I saw him last September and he performed it, the first time I've ever heard him play it live and I've seen him six times here in Ireland since 1999
