I love it when predominantly secular artists give praise to the King of Kings Jesus Christ. He truly does see us through every circumstance we face. The most painful loss and he will wrap his arms around you and bring you a sense of peace and love you’ve never thought was possible

Were all immortal. When we leave we either go to heaven or he'll. Thank you Jesus for paying for my sins. No one comes to father except through his son Jesus..Just call him.Save me Jesus. He will

James was the soundtrack of my high school and college years. Decades later, I still sing his songs to myself all the time...

You, Sweet Baby James, are the soundtrack to my soul. The lifter of my head. Thanking God for you, your incredible talent that you have been given, and the love and dignity you show to ALL mankind. Wish I could meet you one day. I've spent years of my life, ups and downs, " moving on down the line.". God speed, Mr Taylor, God Bless

Leland Sklar on bass. Only the colour of his hair and beard has changed.
Kootch is one of the most underated guitar players and songwriters from this era, his 1980 album innuendo its killer and doesn't get listened to like it should, reminds me of cheap trick and warren zevon combined.

I always loved James because he was just such a natural talent and he didn’t aspire to be super famous. He just wanted to sing good songs and reach people, softly..

I was 12 years old when this came out, i listened to it on a cliff edge watching the surf until I went in and found myself at home. My house was not a home but a hell I escaped to go surfing and meeting hippies who gave me my first hugs.
