yea we went last night in niagara falls, i turn 40 this year, i have been listening to him my entire life plus 9 months, my dad if he wasn’t so shy could be a james taylor tribute, he is so good on the acoustic, and has a softer voice, JT doesn’t need to be an overwhelming singer, his music and his soul is pure and timeless

This man is a 75 year old legend, of course he doesn’t sound like he did 50 years ago. This is still one of the most beautiful songs and a privilege to hear him still singing it.

My sister would play this song all the time. The summer of '98 she played his greatest hits cd over and and over. That November she was gone forever. I can still hear that cd playing.

Ive seen people say James has vocal problems and shouldnt be singing. I close my eyes and all i hear is James Taylor singing the way he did. Rest your voice

Was it just him, or did he have the “All Star Band” with him?

Suzanne the plans 'they' made. He usually says 'we' but unconsciously defaulted to the original 'they' this time putting the onus back on Suzanne's parents. JT sounding a bit old but hanging in there

He had vocal issues for several weeks during this time, with his Dr. putting him on vocal rest and having to reschedule a few shows.

I seen James Taylor on the 80's, he was sensational! But o think this concert he seems to be carrying a cold, his voice is hoarse, definitely that. Not the smooth mellow tones we use to from this great man!

I'm glad I saw this. Now I won't buy concert tickets.

Age has a way of bringing out the reediness in a man’s voice. Melody and picking still beautiful though.

Why do the sound guys insist on so much bass drum? This isn't dance music. You don't have to feel the bass drum in your chest.
