Anyone who has no idea who James Taylor is, please take a little time and educate yourself. He is a legend. School is failing this generation.

The negative comments here are unbelievable . Here's a young pop star acknowledging a legend, James Taylor. The crowd goes wild, obviously doing the same. It's a moment of respect and admiration, shut up and enjoy it for what it is.

Despite being a literal musical legend, James Taylor has such graceful humility. And you can tell that despite Tayor Swift being a superstar in her own right, she is completely starsstruck by being able to share the stage with him. What a beautiful moment for both of them!

James Taylor singing harmony for TSwift on his own song, what a humble man! There aren't many artists who would do that out there. TSwift wasn't too bad herself, it's hard for anybody to do James Taylor better than James Taylor, especially when he's sitting right there.

What I love about James Taylor is that he always performs the song exactly the same way it was written. He doesn’t go off in crazy riffs. Doesn’t try to change it up. Just a simple ballad, with a natural voice and yet still gives off the same emotional impact. Love him.

As a girl raised to a James-Taylor-soundtracked childhood, and a massive Swiftie, this is kind of what heaven looks like.

If she married him, she could be Taylor Taylor

James is a gentle giant. He always says at his concerts that when he wrote these early songs he didn't know that he'd be singing then every night for thirty years. Lol. I grew up on James Taylor and Carole King songs. I just love him and never tire of listening to his voice. His songs are comforting to me, like a favorite pair of old jeans

One of the most beautiful things about this. James Taylor doing the song exactly as we all know and love and Taylor Swift giving it the grace it deserves. You can see she really loves having James Taylor doing this. It's not just a "throw in a cameo" moment.
@ReformedTryHard
I love how she leans on her guitar and lets herself just be enthralled with the awesomeness of the moment.

James Taylor has been my favorite artist since the seventies. That voice has brought me more peace over the years than I can say. So glad he made it through his troubled times.

James Taylor… one of the greatest, most enduring gifts to music and music lovers everywhere. ❤
@crittersintheyard3993
she looks at him like she completely adores him, I love it. Bless her for featuring artists that her young fans may not have heard of.
@vanislefan
I swear his voice has hardly changed since 1970. The song blew us away when it came on the air and still does. If the proper word now is rapture then we're all in.
@flynnfriend
Taylor is a good singer. James Taylor is one of the great singers of the last 50 years.

Writing this in 2024 when Taylor Swift has all the news media and the world in a frenzy. The fact that she respects and adores James Taylor has ramped up my respect for HER!

Thank you! I love this. I am almost 70, and seeing this with Taylor and James brought tears. You go, girl. Singing with my generation. But, I love your talent. Love, Dale.

James Taylor is such an iconic part of the life I'm so blessed to know... simply the sound of his gorgeous voice and perfect songs, his endearing humility and straightforward humanness is moving beyond measure. Thank you, Taylor Swift, for honoring him, and thank you James Taylor, for your willingness to co-create with her!
