Went all the way to Cruiserweight with that defense. Barely ever trained too, would just spar endlessly in the lead up to fights.

@@Ze_Moose nunn had an amateur record of 168-8 and was a highly touted prospect who became the ibf champ and had made several defenses, he was 36-0 with like 23 kos and toney was not a champion he was just a contender back then and much less known

Why the fuck this fight doesn't have more views??? It's a beautiful, gorgeous, divine masterpiece!!! Shows great tecnique from young fighters, courage, skill, toughness, full of action, is mostly fought in the inside AND ends with a KO. To crown this holy jewel, the underdog won in the champion's hometown . Thank God for this fight and blessed be James Toney ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥👏👏👏

Really beat prime GGG? I'm a couple months new so idk but ggg beat canelo the first time without extreme difficulty. He's a legend middleweight, cruised though the top 160ers like nothing

Excellent fight! Nunn fiught like a REAL Champ. But Toney fought with the HEART of an ATG!! Nunn was getting away with too much crap im his fights up to this point...
