I've tried to get in contact with Mr. Jim but been unsuccessful. I understand he has teaching classes in Atlanta and I'd like to attend one. If someone knows how to contact him please send a message. Thanks.

Question: In your opinion Mr. Jim, what SHOULD have been the response of the black community to the death of Dr. King? Was there a great difference percentage wise in black business ownership in the Renaissance era as opposed to just prior to Dr.King's assassination?

I think that the baton was passed to each Black American after Martin Luther Kung jr. died. Laws were passed because of their efforts to create an environment to be free. We acted on them .

I think he is saying that some people tried to do it their own way. But they did not try to finish it the way that Martin Luther King laid out. It splintered. We had Malcolm X , who was a separatist until later in life. Jessie Jackson has done a lot, but he was a younger member when King passed. Also, as Big Cee mentions Adam Clayton Powell, who took the political route, and so many others. But the organization that King put in place did not continue. It was in a way, an end of an era.
