I'd like to interview you for my podcast about the men's clothing business during the pandemic. I'm a Harlem born men's clothing professional who worked in the rag trade for over 25 years, managing stores in 4 states and employed over 2000 people. I would be a great pleasure to sit down with you!

I was curious about the time frame you mentioned for the trade of heroin. I had heard of the early drug problems among musicians, but was not sure if it was heroin or morphine. I was surprised to discover that heroin was a problem after it's introduction as a substitute for morphine. They thought it was safe; sound familiar. The biggest surprise was that heroin addiction was almost obliterated during World War 2 because the traffic routes were disrupted. On Wikipedia they actually discuss the fact that it was reintroduced by the Mafia. Narconon also has a good history section. A sad but interesting topic.

Thank you. Terrible situation for all concerned - both the addicts and their families and friends. I don't think many people are aware of the history of drug addiction in this country.
