Me too, it was a fine line to walk, because i didn't want to patronize, but also didn't want them to think that they sucked. I usually said "can i try one time?", after seeing them 'Groundhogging' on the same spot for too long.

I changed myself some sprites from Mega Man 3 to change him as Deadpool :) I used to do simple graphic NES hacks, I did a Dracula sprite hack for Simon Belmont and a Super Assassins Bros, giving an Assassins Creed feel to SMB

@gdh1984 It was actually a pretty good OVA. It deals with bio-organisms, ala Ninja Gaiden III (and came around the same time, hence why the Japanese boxart for that game and the Gameboy title feature the design from the anime). I'd say it fits in the NG universe quite well. And there's also a very brief flashback of Jaquio wielding the Dark Sword of Chaos. My only real gripe with it is that Irene was a bit too cowardly for my tastes, compared to how she was in the games.

and its funny cuz in one scene in DeadPool 2 at the Xmen mason you see Cyclopes and Beast in the background and they shut a door so DeadPool doesn't see them. Probably some of the funniest movies in the last few years defiantly.

It would be awesome to see video game movies in the style of grindhouse films. I think that one movie in particular that would fit perfectly in that genre would be an adaptation of the Manhunt series. The whole premise is about killing for snuff films, and given that movies like Saw and Hostel exist (Saw's getting a new installment in two months), it wouldn't even be that bad.

The way you describe those game movie potentials...for like a year now I've had this idea about a Warriors + The Raid (Indonesian flick) style movie themed in the 80s being pretty perfect for a *Streets of Rage* film, and thinking how crazy it is that it hasn't happened yet. Remixes of the game's themes for the big screen during awesome fight scenes as the trio battle their way through the city and up a tower to Mr. X? More themed after the original (and 2, maybe without Skate) before all the cyber stuff came in, so it's grittier and grounded and not so goofy on the big screen, but still has good banter and character stuff (basically like the OG 1990 TMNT movie). GET IT DONE!

Contra as a movie could be pretty cool now that I think about it. It could start out with the pair of heroes heading to an undisclosed South America country in the midst of a civil war or revolution. As the guys fight through (or alongside) the local guerrillas they find more and more clues of outside meddling. They find out the Soviets may be involved but they discover it's actually aliens. They destroy the invaders and learn that war is bad or something. Maybe freedom is good. However you want to spin it.
