I would love to know what you do with everything that you harvest. I know it's just you and Tuck and maybe your brother, but do you feed the rest of your family with this ...do you donate it? I would also love to see a video on how you store everything that you harvest like all the cabbages I think you harvested like five cabbages in one video ...how do you store all that? Do you chop it up and freeze it? Please do a video on that for everything that you harvest I would love to know how you store everything. Thank you again so much for all your videos you are really getting me into gardening although I'm in South Carolina and you're in New Jersey I'm taking a lot of notes LOL

I'm so excited... this is the first time in about 25 years that I've had a garden and I'm already eating from it! I harvested radishes last week, and baby spinach and romaine yesterday! I never really liked radishes, but found a pickled radish recipe that is soooooo tasty I'm going to plant a second batch. The other day I caught my husband with the jar in one hand, a fork in the other, and a guilty look on his face. 😂

I agree, that this year gonna be a good harvest. My fruit trees also loaded, more than ever, and the veggies develop nicely too. I have a recommendation, because I didn't see corn in your garden, that try popcorn. It is different than the sweet corn, need special corn. I grow that every year, wait until fully dry on the stem and peel all the seeds off and I pop around with it whole year. That is one of my fav crop!

Thanks for sharing! We grow greens for a long harvest season also. One of our favorites is the tatsoi. Who knew? So good. Our mustards and spinach have already started to bolt. Our bok choy and lettuce are up and ready. Cabbage and broccoli have a little while to go but, beet and turnip greens are ready to go. We leave 3 leaves on each plant. I believe the roots are just starting to form. I love the multi-use, eat-the-whole plant roots. Your fruit videos encouraged me to purchase and plant currants. Keep warm Tuck!

Great to know the specific varieties you've chosen for their short growing times and heat tolerance! The health and vibrance of your plants are a testimonial to your methods. Learning so very much from each video, James. Thanks to Tuck, too, your vigilant assistant ❤ P.S. Beyond the usual fertilizing the last 3 years, I followed your recent must-see "Homemade POTTING MIX..." video recipe for soil+amendments. First I "forked" deep down into the surface [broadfork not available], then mixed up the components on the tarp (hydrated coco coir, then mixed with biochar into the compost to innoculate it, then kelp, worm castings, perlite, and vermiculite). Then this was blended into the top 4-6" [based on Wakefield BioChar instructions] of my existing slightly-raised beds, keeping it wet for 7 days to activate the biochar. This is my 200 sq ft rental plot in the one Seattle's organic garden site previously cultivated in a swampy area by generations of Italian and Asian gardeners, then offered to tenants by the city since 1973. In days 7-9, my heavy dense soil was TRANSFORMED into something much more workable and airy!

I LOVE YOUR GARDEN, you have great success, I live in the NW next to a bay, I have a very hard time going radishes, carrots, Cilantro and big bug problem, I cover with insect netting but somehow they find a way in, plus not enough warm days my tomato plants are suffering, I start everything from seed, but I my have to buy starters. one tomato plant at my local Fred Myers is $16 to 20 dollars, carrots are outrageous as well. I try to garden to help food price but looks like a rough yr for me.
