wow! but hey do you ever use a respirator and also a dust mask??? the epoxy primer most likely has isocyanates and a 3m paint respirator will not filter them out, I'm sure the other chemicals are terrible too...

What was the "coat of clear" you put over it when it was finished?

what about epoxy gelcoat & epoxy resin instead of polyester?
